"I'm assuming your the one who sent that thing to get me?" Leonard questioned him in a fearless manner, however- deep inside, the fear of death began to creped up from within him.

"Hahaha what make you think I did that?" the giant humanoid creature laughed at Leonard.

"Just a suspicion, that's all- but honestly, if you're the mastermind, shouldn't you be sending more of those "Apostle" coming after me? Why coming here personally?" Leonard asked him.

"That was my plans previously, however- I've changed my mind you see, I did indeed ordered for more of my units to proceed with your capture, however- there was a bit of delay due to this planet unique lifeforms, took a while to gather a bit of their samples, so I have to improvise" the giant beast-man shrugged.

"So the king himself decide to come and personally get me?" his eyebrow twitched a little seeing how nonchalant this creature before him casually strolled in and decide to just attempt to kidnap him, if that was the case, it might be a problem for Leonard because he doesn't think that he will be able to fight whoever or whatever that creature is.

"No hard feeling right? Your death is required for my people to return to their rightful places within the multiverse." the giant creature mocked him in a casual tone.

"What the hell is the god imprint that you're after? Whatever the hell it is, I don't have it!" Leonard went into his combat stances and activate his suit of armor as he glared at the monster before him, the monster which he almost had no confident fighting head on.

"Hahaha! You still don't understand the priceless treasures that you held within your soul, don't you? You absolutely had no idea how many supreme beings from within the multiverse would try and capture you if they caught wind of the news that you're the owner of the god imprint! The thing you call the system! Is the god imprint!" the giant creature smirked, revealing it fangs in places of normal molar and teeth.

"Wait- the system is the god imprint? That's what you want? The system? How the hell are you planning on getting it? The system already been bound to me." Leonard narrowed his eyes.

"Yes, for most being who greed after your "system" it might be a problem for them to get their hand on it, due to not having the proper method of extracting it out of course- by that it mean, I have a method of taking it for myself." the grin on the monstrous humanoid being grew wider.

"Oh shit!" Leonard curse loudly as he quickly pulled out an energy crystal bomb from his inventory and began overloading it with as much power as he can possibly squeeze in before throwing toward the giant humanoid figure at point blank, hoping that it was enough of a distraction for him to extend their distances from one another.

"Please, you think something like this could save you? We haven't even began to talk about what you did to my properties!" the beast-man waved his hand and an energy barrier began to shrouded itself around him and protected him from the energy explosion.

The dark power from within the crystal burst forward, covering and devour everything within the blast radius of the crystal.

"Hmph! Weak- what? Oh, interesting, I guess I've underestimated to the power void energy, no wonder those Void lord held such a reputation in the Nether Realms." the beast-like being smirked as he looked at the energy barrier that protected him from the explosion, being slowly devoured by the dark power from the crystal.

"But in the end, no matter how tyrannical, or overbearing such an energy is, it doesn't count much if you are too WEAK to wield it properly!" as he finished his words, a red aura began to explode outward from the beast-like figure body and dispersed the void power that was still clinging around in the area and devouring anything and everything within the little time possible.

"Now, where are we again?-" CLANK! *shattered *puchi! Something lodged itself into the shoulder of the beast-like being.

Just as when he spoke and try to find the whereabout of Leonard, he felt something impacted the barrier that protected heavily, it was a bullet.

Due to the previous explosion of void energy at a close range, the barrier has been somewhat weakened before the bullet finished it and directly made contact with the humanoid monster.

"Still not dead yet? Such resiliency, is this what a peak Star Realm being's like?" Leonard who watched the sniper bullet penetrates the monster from far shivered.

Even he wouldn't dare to just stood there and take on a bullet of such caliber.

If he just stood there like what that thing just did, his shoulder would probably be missing the moment the bullet made contact.

"Hmmm? A mortal made weapon actually manage to harm this king? Now I'm entreated, here I thought the only good thing these insects had is Nuclear weapons." he smiled before digging his finger into the bullet wound and pulled it out, the moment the bullet was out, the wound on his shoulder began to stop bleeding and closed up at a rapid pace.

"I assure you, something like this won't happen again." the beast-like figure crushed the bullet with his palm and tossed it to the side before forming an energy ball with his free hand tossed it toward Leonard direction at double the speed of the bullet from the sniper.

"FUCK!!!" Leonard curses as he tried to quickly roll away.

*BOOOMMM!!!! It explodes the moment it arrived near him.

The force from the explosion launched him a hundred of meters away from the epicenter of the blast, along with the force and power, it felt like his body was broken all inside- and outside as the cheap nano battle armor has missing most of it pieces.

He coughed out a pint worth of blood as he felt a rib has punctured his lung and spilled blood into the airway and also suffocated him.

"What- the -fuck!" Leonard curses loudly as he saw the silhouette of the monstrous figure drawing ever closer and with another one of those ball of death in hand at that.

"What are you so persistence on getting the System?!" Leonard asked him.

"Isn't it obvious? The god imprint would accelerate the growth of the host along with giving the host a connection a divinity- which in your case, should be who ever gave you that system, you honestly have no ideas how much benefits a true god apostle actually held, access to the god dimension- all the good stuffs" the beast-man grinned at him.

"What the fuck are you talking? What benefits?! And talking and connection to a divinity?! The only things I heard in my head so far is a heartless A.I voice trolling me and informed of how bored whoever gave me this system is, he's gone as far as screwing up my day!
