225 chapter 26

"I heard that you bunch of lowlife were looking for me, here I am, what are you going to do?" Leonard grinned as he turned his gaze upon their stunned look.

Quickly they regained their composure and readied their weapons and ready to face the "demon lord" before them, that was Leonard.

Most of them had something like a knife at least, while some do carry small arms like a pistol.

"Hahaha, this is the greatest joke I've seen today." Leonard casually laughed at the group of mobsters who still haven't learned the fact that he just blown one of their comrade to bits using a bullet that he caught from them.

"It won't be funny anymore when we shred you to pieces in a hail of knives and bullets now does it!" the leading thug threatened as he took a gun from one of the underlings and pointed it point blank at Leonard forehead and pulled back the hammer while grinning menacingly.

"You don't seem to learn, do you… aren't you afraid that I'm going to turn you into a bloody mess as I did to whoever it was down there?" Leonard casually pointed at the broken bits down on the side of the floor that was formerly one of them.

"Heh? But after you killed me, do you believe that you could escape unscathed? We have more than one guns here you know? I doubt whatever your mutated ability is, you won't be able to dodge or escape these many bullets! Even if you managed to escape~" he then turned his lecherous gaze toward the woman and her child.

"Hahaha…" he drooled as he looked at the curve on her body.

"As I said, this is the biggest joke I heard today." Leonard played it off with a casual chuckle that irritated the thug who pointed the gun at his head.

While Leonard and the thug leader was having a "chat" one of the underlings subtly closed the door behind, preventing onlooker from peering into their soon to be a bloody business.

"Then die!" just a moment before the thug leader pulled the trigger, a sudden heavy impact exploded before his stomach and launched him toward the door that was closed and broke it down, the man crashed outside and made a dent into one of the nice looking cars that they had parked, leaving it in ruins.

"This is what I mean by the biggest joke." Leonard was now in a punching stance with his fist extended out in an "already punched" position.

None of the people in the room saw what really had happened, the only thing they managed to catch on was their boss being launched like a cannonball and broke down a door and along with one of their vehicle.

"You can't really shoot me if I exploded out at the speed that is faster than a typical bullet." Leonard sneered at their stupidity for now comprehending the fact that he can catch a bullet with his bare-hand and was still unharmed.

"HIIIIIIII!!!!!" one of the thugs finally couldn't take it and unloaded his clip at Leonard.

*Bang *BANG *Bang *bang *Bang *bang

He unloaded all six shots from an old revolver, however- to all those who saw what really happened to the bullet when they made contact with Leonard skin, it gave him a chill that would likely stick on them for the rest of their days.

All the bullet, they either bounced off like they had hit an object that is much harder than reinforced steel and ricochet elsewhere, it's either that or the bullet was caught by his hand as it was misdirected at the people behind him.

"Stay behind me, you should be safe," Leonard told the two people behind as he casually pulled the AK-47 that he previously stored inside of his inventory and reloaded the magazine.

"You got anything else that you would like to show me?" Leonard asked the thugs in a mocking tone as he casually pointed the barrel of the AK-47 at them while smile innocently before unloading everything the weapons had to offer in a controlled recoil spraying fashion and once again, created an even bigger mess than before.

"Who are you, really?" the woman and her son stared at Leonard back as he cleaned the AK-47 he borrowed from their basement and used to massacre the thugs that invaded their home.

"As I said, I'm just a random passerby A who had a bit of dealing with the Zaluchi, but somehow encountered some unexpected issue and ended up here- where your cute son manages to pick me up on the side of the road and dragged me here," Leonard replied as he carefully inspected the inside of the barrel and dig out any grime that was within using a piece of wet cloth.

The woman was speechless at Leonard response, however, that was different for her son, who had eyes that idolized Leonard after the little incident.

"You are really strong," he complimented Leonard.

"Thanks, kid, but I'm not that strong since you managed to found me in the worse condition possible." he chuckled as he ruffled. the little kid hair.

"B-b-but you are really strong! You took down the bad men so quickly! Like my dad!" the kid continued to compliment him.

"Aww, that's cute, I'm sure you will be as strong as him someday." Leonard chuckled at the kid words for comparing him to his deceased dad.

"By the way, what are you going to do now?" Leonard asked the woman, seeing that she began to pack up her things into a small suitcase, which only contained the necessity.

"I'm assuming that you're planning to...ditch this place?" he assumed.

"Well? Isn't that obvious? You literally wiped out a gang that belongs to the Corleone family in my house, you honestly believe that they would let the both of us off?" her brow twitched as she turned to the blood stain on her floor and wall.

"But where are you planning to go now? It's not like you can stay in this district any longer," he asked her.

"I'm moving back to live with my dad back in the Zaluchi district, I'm sure he can help the both of us with any troubles that might crop up," she suggested.

This answer got Leonard all hyped up.

"Zaluchi? Let me go with you two, I need to return to the Zaluchi areas too, I still don't really know my way around the city just yet." Leonard added.

"You said that you have some dealing with the Zaluchi?" she stopped and looked at Leonard.

"Yeah, I've made one recently with the family, could say that they won't be hostile toward me and likely anyone who's under my wings." he declared proudly in front of the lady.

"Mommy, are we going to grandfather? But I thought I don't have a grandpa..." the little kid asked with eyes filled with curiosity.

"You do, we just never told you." she didn't say much and continued packing up.

"You bring me one of those pistols down in the basement? Along with a few clips and explosive, make sure once you don't gather up the important items, pull the pin from one of the grenades and blow it up, we don't want those bastards to get their dirty hand on my husband armory," she asked Leonard.

"There's no need to blow anything up, I got it all on me," he told her while tossing an unloaded pistol at her, along with a few clips of ammo to her surprise as she quickly rushed to the busted basement/cellar door, only to discovered that everything had disappeared.
