SYSTEM:TWISTED LOVE INTEREST CANNON FODDER

"You are too overpowered. Your existence poses a great threat to my son and daughter of fate. I had no other choice but to kill you." This was the voice of God he heard when he was about to enter the door of death. "A tragic oped character, sigh, its a very popular trend right now. The normal cliche of losing all your loved ones, an illegitimate son of a noble household, possessing overwhelming magic, good looks and what not. But as I kept writing I realised I made you way too oped, to the point your existence became a threat to the plot." The voice of god spoke to him again. "...Are you the one who killed my family?" He asked back with a blank expression. "Yes." Spoke the voice again. This simple one sentence angered him to the point he fought harder against his predestined death. He was enraged. The death of his family was orchestrated by this damn god, his life made miserable and painful, so he had to rise again, back on his two feets so he could destroy the god's world. And so he did. He rose again, defeating his death. Then he had his revenge by almost destroying the world. Almost!!! Before he could lead to the death of the Male and the female lead a thing called system was bounded to his soul. He was forced to leave his world and enter many different worlds. "Well, Unfreeze the OOC!" He demanded with a malicious grin on his face. He had to have his revenge. But most important of all, he had to be the one incharge of his characters. "......." The system shivered at his words, its invisible eyes bulging out. Unbeknownst to him, a GOD had embarked on a journey to a portal of unknown origin right at the time when he was entering a new world. "Oh fuck!" He cursed as he realised a dangerous point. "This is not the protagonist! Who is he?" Novel cover: Drawn by me aka @pushisinung

ARC ONE:CH-1.3

The Chu Gui in Guang Wang Lei's memory was not this strong. He stared at the person he was strangling. When he looked into the other's eyes he was taken aback. The other person stared back at him with serene eyes.

"Who are you?" Guang Wang Lei asked him again. The demeanour of this person was far from what Chu Gui's rotten character was.

Ivar frowned in discomfort. His powers were sealed once again. Did those gods fix the error in the system? If so he had no other choice.

He raised his hand. His fist clenched into a punch as he jabbed it forward.

Thwack...

A clean blow packed with a killer hit landed on Guang Wang Lei's face. He was taken aback. Because he got distracted a bit observing the person in his grip the attack landed on his face due to his momentary carelessness. The punch stung his face. The cheek of his left profile formed a purple bruise, new and fresh. A drop of blood trickled down from the corner of his lips. His eyes went wide with another surprise.

Guang Wang Lei was very familiar with this power because this power had clashed with the current him so many times in his memory. However the momentum of the punch that landed on his face just now was clearly different from the one in his memories. They were the same power belonging to the same person yet the way they used it differed a lot. Even the raw strength the Current unknown person residing in Chu Gui's body was far stronger than the original bastard.

His eyes stared at the person who had managed to injure him a bit. "Not bad. You managed to wound me." As he spoke he made a strange face, the corners of his lips curving upwards, his eyes smiling yet not smiling at the same time.

Pang. Ziiiii.....

A chill ran down Ivar's spine. His whole body shivered subconsciously. He had never faced this kind of obstacle, a situation where he was this disadvantaged had never happened before.

The grip around his neck loosen. He slipped away from the man as the person let him go.

"Let's fight." Guang Wang Lei announced. The way he spoke made it clear that there was no room for refusal. "Its been a long time since someone else was able to injure me like this."

Ivar watched him with wary eyes, his sight not moving from him even for a bit. Although his real powers were sealed, with his raw strength and the current host's powers he was bound to atleast land some blows on the man. He believed that he could at least injure the man a bit some more.

But.

Oh boy he was wrong.

The fight between him and the protagonist ended within fifteen minutes.

The result?

He wasn't even able to hit the man. Not even once. The most he could do was attack him at a distance of 1 yard. And he wasn't able to close this gap of 1 yard throughout the entire fight.

Currently he huffed heavily, his whole body panting with discomfort. The original Chu Gui's power was inferior to the strength of the person before him.

Damn. His vision began blurring.

"Host. Your current body's mana point is depleting below the red line. The system will immediately halt the physical activities of the host. The system's healing process will commence from now. Thus the host will lose consciousness during this period."

Fuck. Ivar inwardly cursed at the system's words. If he falls down now didn't that mean that he had lost the battle! How humiliating!

He was not even given a chance as the healing process immediately started. His body fell down descending onto the ground.

Guang Wang Lei watched his opponent's body fall down at a terrifying speed heading downward towards the ground.

He stared down with ruthless eyes.

He had entered the protal that had connected to this world because he thought he might be able to find them here. Alive. And if he found them here kicking safe and sound he was going to bring them back to his kingdom with him. Safe and sound.

"They are not here either." His eyelsahes drooped, disappointment was clearly written on his face.

Should he leave this world? They were not in this world so there was no reason as to why he should stay back here.

But.

His eyes slanted towards the falling man that was about to hit the ground.

But before the head of that person was about to be smashed aganist the ground the unconscious body of the person floated in mid air. Guang Wang Lei appeared before him. He stared at the unconscious Chu Gui. Guang Wang Lei could feel the mana that was almost drained out of Chu Gui's body was being poured back into the person's body.

He frowned at this discovery. Who was this man? The soul residing in the bastard's body, just what kind of identity did he have?

Guang Wang Lei gave it a thought. He was wandering around the universe looking for them. When he was about to enter another dimension his sight fell on a passing light that entered a portal that had been built just then. So he followed it because the world that was connected through the portal looked familiar. And here after he woke up, he went to war then he met Chu Gui.

Guang Wang Lei was sure that the passing light he saw belonged to the soul residing inside Chu Gui.

"Should I kill you?" He murmured as he raised his hand placing them on the resting person's neck. Just a snap. It needed just a snap for him to get rid of the person before him. The unconscious person was unaware of the danger that was lurking around him.

Guang Wang Lei recalled the man's crimson red mana, a strong energy that was ladden with destructive powers, the mana particles so pure and mighty that it could withstand his own godly powers. He retracted his hand.

"Fine. I won't kill you." His eyes squinted at the unconscious Ivar. His gaze then shifted to the ongoing war. His figure disappeared.

Guang Wang Lei interrupted the battle. He released his mana aura at full power. Wisps of cloud like magic particles flooded the entire sky covering it with a vibrant red screen.

Everybody felt a shiver run down their spine. They all looked up at the person who had released this unbelievable pressure. The moment their eyes looked into the ruthless gaze of the initiator, they all felt their knees give up the strength in them as everybody slumped down.

"Kneel." An absolute order fell on their ears.

At this command everyone present went on their knees, prostrating before Guang Wang Lei. This included the ally as well as the enemies.

The enemies were sweating hard, their heart thumping with an overwhelming fear as if they could be killed any moment. That was when they realised that Guang Wang Lei had been holding back his power. He clearly had the strength to wipe them out without much hassle yet he actually watched them fight, playing fool of them.

But they had no power to resist this absolute power.

"The war is over. If anybody wishes to retaliate, remember, I will rip you to pieces." An authorative voice filled the sky. As Guang Wang Lei spoke he turned aorund ready to leave the battlefield.

As he left no one let out a voice of complain. The enemies were trembling on their knees. A magnificent pressure was crashing down their bodies as if telling them that it was impossible to fight back. They couldn't even resist this pressure so there was no question of retaliation.

Ivar, who was currently undergoing the system's healing process, thus, missed this amazing spectecular. If he were to see this, he would freak out pondering about the protagonist's real identity.

It wasn't until two days later did his eyes finally opened.

"Host. The healing process has been completed." Nulis spoke.

Ivar clicked his tongue. So he had lost that battle. He swept his gaze around. Currently he was lying on a bed. He got up and walked out of the room. The entire courtyard was empty. There were no signs of people anywhere within the compound of this place. It was an empty house where there was only him.

"Nulis, do you have a rough idea on who that person is?"

The system paused. "Host. That....I don't know."

Ivar heard it reply. "Then....are there people who can travel to different worlds without a system's assistance? One thing for sure he is not like us, like me." Ivar was able to travel to different worlds because of the system. But that man seemed to be able to do so on his own.

As for what happened after he lost consciousness, he did not knew. Neither did Nulis. So asking the system would be pointless.

"Host.....if he is able to do that without a system's assistance, then he might be someone from the higher realm. But I cannot be sure on that fact either because those powerful people from the higher realm cannot cause physical intervention in the lower realms."

When Ivar heard that those gods cannot cause physical intervention, he frowned.

"Why would that be the case?"

"I don't know host. But it seems that they really cannot act physically on their own so that was the reason why the system department was created." Nulis spoke.

Ivar was about to speak again when he heard a voice call out to him.

"Who are you speaking to?"

A figure suddenly appeared before his face. It was Guang Wang Lei. The tall man towered him, his eyes looking down at him with a sharp gaze. This startled Ivar. He scooted away from him in an instant.

Gaung Wang Lei observed his facial expression. He did not fail to notice the alarm in the other's eyes.

His eyes darted aorund Ivar's figure.

"I can sense another presence in you. You are not alone here, are you? Who were you talking to?"

"....!!!??!!!" Ivar widened his eyes in shock. This.....he was able to sense the presence of the system?

Nulis felt a chill run down its mechanical body. "Host." It urged. "Make sure he does not get a wind of my existence."

Ivar agreed with him. How could he let this monster know the existence of the system?

Guang wang Lei saw that the person did not wanted to respond.

Well...there was plenty of time for him.

"Let's have a chat inside." Not waiting for Ivar to say anything he turned around and began walking.

Ivar was dumbfounded. Regardless, he was also curious about this person so he followed.

"Let me ask you again. Who are you?" As Guang Wang Lei spoke he took a seat.

Opposite to him was Ivar.

Ivar looked him in the eyes as he asked back. "Who are you yourself?"

The former raised his brow at him. Guang Wang Lei sent an ounce of his pressuring aura over to the person seated next to him. Ivar felt a shudder in his body. He instantly realised that this man was trying to subjugate him using his aura. But he was not the type to scramble down. With his powers still sealed away, he had no other choice but to endure the chilling pressure through gritting teeth.

Fuck! He cursed. The orginal Chu Gui's powers were of no help to him. So he could only use his physical strength and his will in order to fight back the urging pressure of wanting to kneel down before him.

Guang Wang Lei watched this leisurely. He stared at Ivar with deep eyes. His gaze sharper than ever.

"Show me that thing. Your crimson red mana."

Ivar heard him speak. His powers were sealed again so there was no way he could use it now.

"I can't." He replied. He couldn't. And even if he could use it he didn't wanted to show it to him.

He had to intention of getting involved with this man. Poeple who were in Ivar's current situation might grab this chance to ask this man if he could break the seal for them. It would be understandable if they were to act like this, but for Ivar, he did not wanted any involvement with this dangerous man. Not to mention he had to get revenge using his own strength.

Guang Wang Lei frowned. He got up from his seat. Ivar's body couldn't help but freeze. His guard against this man went up.

"Your mana energy is strong. Probably the strongest kind amongst those I have encountered. It was also a really beautiful colour." As he said this his facial expression turned ugly.

"But....you are giving me an attitude of not wanting to have anything to do with me? How dare you! Before someone as mighty as me!"

"!!!!" The system's invisble eyes rolled down on the floor when it heard the man rebuke. This.....the man sounded like a narcissist!

Ivar positioned his body taking a fighting stance. Thankfully he was prepared. The man threw a punch at him but he blocked it. Another punch came crashing towards him. Ivar raised his leg and kicked down the fist that was aimed at him. But before he could retract his leg claw like fingers grabbed his leg.

Grab!

phat!

Ivar's eyes went wide as he felt his entire body being yanked forward. Guang Wang Lei yanked him by his leg so hard that he lost his enitre body balance. He twisted his body as he twriled himself forcefully to the left. But....

Boom!

Thud!

Crash!

"!!!" Nulis turned into a statue with shock. He had never seen its host so powerless before.

Ivar was mercilessly pushed back to the wall, his back crashed against the sturdy wall, making it crack a little bit. Two tower like arms cornered him from both sides. Ivar frowned. Just as he was about to trash around a hand caught both his arms. Guang Wang Lei then pinned his arms over his head using his one hand. Ivar glared at him. He hated this feeling. He hated this feeling of powerlessness he was experiencing at this moment. Although a bit different this feeling he was currently feeling was similar to that binding force of being rendered motionless as he watched his family leave him one by one.

He was so lost into his own remorseful thoughts that he did not notice the man's other hand stretch towards his face. It wasn't until cold fingertips touched the skin on his face did he realise that the man had actually grabbed his chin. He twisted his face trying to get away from the man's hold but Guang Wang Lei held his chin on place. After trashing around for while Ivar gave up.

Now, his powers were sealed. So it was understandable that he was not a match for this powerful man. However even with his powers unsealed, Ivar doubted that he was still not a match for this man.

Guang Wang Lei tilted the chin in his hand in such a way that their faces were at the same eye level. He stared at the pair of eyes that were glaring at him. These pair of eyes held no fear in them.

The face before him was the face of the rotten bastard, Chu Gui. But because the soul residing in this body was someone else's, the difference between the old and this new soul so drastic, that the whole persona of this same rotten face had changed. Guang Wang Lei had never seen such serene eyes, like an inextinguishable flame flickering in the wind, hot and blazing just like the crimson red mana he had seen back at the battlefield.

He straightened his back. The tall build of the man towered Ivar. The hand grabbing his chin tilted it up more forcefully.

Ivar frowned.

How hateful!

He was being so helpless and powerless just like back then. He hated this feeling of weakness swelling in his heart. The glare of his eyes became even more fierce.

"Interesting." Guang Wang Lei snorted. He had never met a person who had refused to give in to his subjugation. Not to mention, the fierce eyes without a hint of fear gave him a fresh feeling. He then released him.

Ivar scooted away from him in an instant. An urgent urge arose in his heart as he saw the man make a terrible smirk.

"Nulis, how much more until the time limit in this world?" He needed to know this!

"Host....we....still have about almost a year or so..." It felt sympathy for its host. Nulis had never seen Ivar so flustered and distrubed to the point that he wanted to immediately know his own time limit in this world.

"Tsk." A voice interrupted their conversation. Ivar steered his eyes towards the man. His eyes and senses were wary of this powerful man.

"Look." Guang Wang Lei spoke. "You are doing it again." He raised his hand and pointed his fingers at his head. Then he added with a smile. "I guess it's in here."

Ivar was stupefied. His spine shivered as he felt a chill squeeze his soul.

Guang Wang Lei's lips curved even higher, the bridge of his nose high and mighty, as he completed his sentence.

"I guess the person you are talking to is in your head."
