With a wide grin, Gerard left the cave, looting all the coins scattered along the way. He may have hundreds of gold coins right now, but he still needs to earn coins and live a frugal life for now.

Feeling refreshed, his stride is full of confidence. He scan the surroundings and didn't find any oddities.

Gerard took out a map from his space inventory and pointed out the routes he went through.

His eyes darted to the forest occupied by Rimland City on the northeastern side. The particular spot he encircled before departing from Oak City is quite popular. While everyone in Rimland City considered the land a normal tourist spot, Gerard is an exception.

There peacefully laid the untouched Ring of Earth. If he is not wrong, the ring was buried beside the Giant Tree that endures the changes of season and didn't drop a single leaf during autumn. Unknown to them, the reason behind the magic is the Ring of Earth stored in an artifact, protecting the Giant Tree from the seasonal effect.
