Pit of Darkness Part 2

Midair, Gerard keep falling as his voice echoed in a deep pit. He looked up and the reflected light above keep dimming and farther away. He then look at his feet and saw the abyss below. It was so dark that it made his heart panic.

His minds go weary as he was close to his death, and before he can ask the Supreme System if he was about to fall into the rock formation he imagined below, Gerard landed after falling for about a minute.

Splash.

Gerard was about to grunt feeling the impact on his body from falling but the voice become just a muffled and he accidentally swallowed a bit of water.

After flailing his arms and feeling his feet, he stretches his arm and kicks with his legs until his head resurfaced in the water.

Gerard gasped for oxygen and keep his body floating in the water.
