Dainsleif Part 2

Gerard arrived in a familiar void of the universe. Stars and galaxies are the main background of his current location.

He knew his consciousness was taken away before he can find out the results of his struggle against the ancient weapon.

All he can do is wait for the culprit. After all, he does not have the means to force his way out and return his consciousness to his body.

Gerard can't tell who exactly takes away his consciousness.

The Goddess is out of the equation since it was her idea to give the ancient weapon to me and so Asmodeus.

If it's Asmodeus, I should be in his barren land not in this space. Gerard mumbles as he ponders deeply to guess who was the culprit.

Then the space quakes and Gerard almost lose his balance as he instinctively places his hand on his left waist only to find his sword was gone.

"Be at ease."

A hoarse but calm voice reverberated in the space.
