Bargain Struck

"Did I hear it right or are my ears playing a prank on me?" Asmodeus respond with a frown.

"You need to stop the taint on the wild animal's soul. Much better if you can wash off the taint." Gerard repeated.

Asmodeus scoffed!

"Huh! Here you are, intruding on my domain without my consent and demanding something near impossible!"

Gerard wasn't surprised by the response he received, he expected 'His' reaction. But what shocked him is how Asmodeus acted. He was not in a hurry to start corrupting his soul and begin to replace him slowly.

Coming here is suicide for 'Him'. He opened the pathway that leads to his soul and yet Asmodeus seemed not to care…

This turn of events made Gerard worried. If it's other Sins, they might jump right at it the moment he scrapes the seal. Not giving him an opportunity to invade their domain.
