The Demon City

The city gate was looming like a behemoth. Dhvani didn't expect such extravagance. It perfectly captured the ideas of its entity, the Lord of Darkness, as the people of this world named it. No one knew if the thing was it or a person. But she felt opposing thoughts. On one hand, she admired this but on the other, she hated herself for admiring it.

The demon city had a pretty good security arrangement. The demons were patrolling but they were too levels higher than the ones Ajay had fought earlier in the war.

These demons looked like they were individuals and they were altogether completely different from the black fog converted demons.

Something suddenly clicked and Dhvani understood.

What if the fog demons were sent to engage all soldiers as cannon fodder? But at this point, the cannon fodder wasn't cannon fodder. Because the fog could be once again used alter. So essentially it was all just a huge diversion.
