Rose froze, causing the mission to change in an instant like this.
"Fuck!" Rose cursed. She had a bad premonition, so she grabbed the body of the cute little child and hugged her. Rose's left hand hugged the little body tightly, while her free right hand picked up the pan on the floor and held it ready.

The dressing room shook, and then something broke through the plywood wall and broke into the room.

"Shield!" Rose roared, an energy shield appeared on the ring on her right hand finger, resisting the incoming zombies. Rose swung the shield out, pushing the zombies back, and then slammed it with a frying pan.

This attack smashed the zombies' heads in one go, but the zombies were so densely packed that in just a second, they surrounded Rose.
Rose roared again, an energy sword appeared, she swung it and spun around, the energy blade cut through the surrounding bodies, cutting them in half, and the smelly and fishy blood splattered everywhere.
Rose continued to kill zombies. Corpses piled up, making it difficult to move her feet. Rose gasped for air.
"It's not over yet," Rose cursed. She was getting stronger, but with too many of them, she was losing her energy quickly. Rose's arms were sore and weak. The two nearest zombies opened their mouths and bit her shoulders and arms immediately.
"Ouch!" Rose screamed. This pain was something she had never experienced in her previous life. It made her almost crazy. However, the warm body that her left hand held helped her regain her senses. She lifted her foot and kicked the one that had bitten her leg away immediately. Its mouth bit and tore off a piece of flesh from Rose's leg, before hitting the other one with a frying pan.
"We have to break through," Rose muttered. The first floor of the shopping mall was Rose's first choice, but the glowing footprints were heading up to the third floor of the mall. So Rose headed for the third floor instead. The system definitely wouldn't deceive her. The mission was to protect the little child in her arms. Since the system guided her to the third floor, it meant that the floor 3 must be safe
In addition, the wounds from the zombies made Rose very scared. Because the zombie virus must have entered her body. She was afraid that she would soon become a zombie!
"Shield!" Rose put the pan into the dimensional ring, then called out the sword/shield ring instead. An energy shield appeared. Rose gathered her physical energy, then swung the energy shield that appeared on the back of her right hand and swung it at the zombies.
The swing was very strong. One swung sent 10 zombies flying. Rose quickly cleared the way. Before the zombies blocked the way, Rose turned the energy into an energy knife. She hugged the small body in her arms tightly and rushed out with full force.
Passing through countless zombies, cut by the energy knife while Rose ran, holding the energy knife in front of her. Until she reached an escalator that had stopped working because there was no electricity. She stepped on it immediately.

Seeing that, the zombies ran and climbed up the stairs to follow Rose to the 3rd floor of the shopping mall.
Rose let out a breath. She was so tired that she was about to die. Her body was covered in sweat. Her throat was dry and thirsty. Rose felt her body changing. Unfortunately, she had not been empowered. Only those who had been empowered could resist the zombie virus.
Rose paused, and saw the zombies walking and climbing up the stairs. She looked at the claw machine, lifted it with one hand, and blocked it with all her might.

The claw machine, nearly a meter high, fell to the middle of the escalator, temporarily blocking the zombies and the third floor.
Rose did not stop to wait for them. She looked for glowing footprints on the ground and immediately followed their tracks.
On the third floor of the shopping mall, there was a cinema, a game zone, and a restaurant. Rose looked at the footprints heading towards the cinema. Rose followed them until she entered the empty cinema. The glowing footprints disappeared when she entered the cinema. Rose immediately understood the system.
The cinema was very large, but there were only two entrances: the front entrance, which was used to check tickets, and the exit. The doors were made of very strong materials.
Because of this, it was a very safe place.
Rose put the child down, then quickly ran to close the door and lock it. She collapsed onto a chair, feeling dizzy. The wounds from the zombie bites were starting to rot and turned purple with a foul smell.
The child was very shocked, stood up and walked towards Rose.
"Don't come here, stay away from me," Rose shouted weakly. Inside her body, it seemed like something was moving, causing her body to heat up.
The child was shocked, so she curled up on the floor under the seat.

Rose quickly gulped down the potion. Suddenly, the strange symptoms on her body disappeared. Then, the wounds were healed, leaving her white and smooth skin, as if she had never been bitten to the point of having pieces of flesh fall off before.
"Thank you, system. I love you." Rose said. While sighing, she got up and walked over to the child.
"Sorry for yelling. Come here." Rose said to the child curled up on the floor under the cushion.
The child looked up at Rose and quickly crawled over to hug her leg tightly. Rose smiled.
Looking at her, she saw that this child had blonde hair. And the golden eyes, although the body and clothes were dirty and covered in black stains, but it could not hide the beautiful and lovely aura at all.
"What a lovely child." Rose said and picked up the child and held him.
Perhaps because they were safe, both Rose and the child she held relaxed a lot.
