Wang Lu's grandfather enters seclusion!

In the room, Wang Lu was still remembering what he had been told, as he sat there by himself. He could indeed feel that his body had been weakened but he could still move his hands and legs, only he felt every small movement was excruciating.

When he saw his sister peacefully sleeping, he was relieved—Unaware of any changes that were happening in the Zhen city. But he was told he had to hold on until someone would come and help him, only his thoughts weren't on this issue. He was wondering how that person managed to cause such damage to his body with just a casual attack. He was told that this was the power of the domain, as for things like Divine powers, it seemed that his parents thought it best not to mention it.

What they didn't know was that he was thinking differently after they left. "So this is not something that can't be solved, at the end of the day, it is just that I'm too weak. " He thought of things in this way.

Within the main hall in the city lord's mansion, Wang Chengshan sat at the main chair and looked at his son and daughter-in-law.

"Qin Zhu!" He called out as he looked at them.

"father-in-law! What are your instructions?" She asked as she looked at the old man. One could see that even though she seemed reserved, she had forgotten about Wang Lu's situation.

"During the next period, it's best for you to take hold of the city and let this son of mine go into seclusion. But knowing him, he probably might not be able to gain much from seclusion, as such even if it going out to battle, he should. The world has been too peaceful and the signs keep showing that chaos is upon us! The next time, I might not be around, and you will have to use your own strength to protect your children." Wang Chengshan was reminding his son to work harder rather than live life in a relaxed fashion.

After talking more to the two of them, his figure vanished from the room leaving only Wang Chen and Qin Zhu.

Qin Zhu couldn't help but look at the way the old man had vanished before asking, "Is your grandfather just in the Deva stage?"

"What's wrong?" Wang Chen asked with some confusion.

"His domain! It seems to have already started to fuse with the spirit, and this doesn't make sense, because such a person should be able to break through at will anytime." Qin Shu was shocked after she reached this conclusion.

It was not normal for someone who had already reached a point where he could break through at will to claim they were going back into seclusion. But even if she had come to this conclusion, what could she do about it?

Listening to her, Wang Chen said, "I don't usually understand my father most of the time. But when it comes to this, I think it might more or less have something to do with my mother. She always insists on foundation at every stage of cultivation. Do you think that she would allow him to make a breakthrough with anything she deemed as sloppy herself? Trust me! My father is considered a smart man in my eyes." He said as much as the rest was kept in his heart.

'How could he have the guts to go against Mom?' Even though Wang Chen did not say it, this was what he was thinking all the time.

Seeing how he had become silent, she changed the subject, "Father asked you to focus on cultivation, what are you going to do about it?"

"I had also thought about this, but the current development of things disrupted my plans. But I have some confidence in making it to the next stage, but I can't go into seclusion! We might have more trouble coming our way." Wang Chen was able to see a lot more clearly.

During their moment of anger they went all out and carried out a slaughter, it obviously wasn't something that could be overlooked.

Even if there was not a reaction today, it will still happen tomorrow. If not tomorrow then maybe in a year or a decade, but at the end of the day it would come.

But what made him even more angry was this state of uncertainty.

The fact that the Senluo Hall was cooperating with outsiders, or to put it more clearly, aliens. Right! In this world aliens existed and most of them had different reasons for going into other worlds.

Senluo Hall sacrificing mortals for the gods was not something new. But the issue with cooperating with aliens made things different. The creature that had attacked Wang Lu was not just hidding it's true form, but rather it even had some divine power.

He was certain that this was just sent to test them, but the next attack, that might happen any moment might not he easy to deal with.

He didn't think he could rush his progress and thus horning his combat further was a good thing. He could do this near the Zhen City, and if anything changes, he could react.

He didn't hesitate to share some of his thoughts with Qin Zhu that felt they made sense.

"How long do you think we have before they make another move?" This was the most crucial issue. Qin Zhu was smart, but she wasn't one to get involved in military schemes.

Wang Chen on the other hand was more used to this. Hearing this question, he sighed before saying, "we probably have less than a decade. During this period another attack might be launched and I feel like this is a familiar scene."

"What do you mean?" Qin Zhu was confused by what her husband had just said.

"Well! I just feel like I have read this somewhere before. Perhaps I didn't think clearly about the issue before, but now I can't help but have my memory triggered. This seems to have happened once before and it was the order of the Abyssal Empire when it comes to selecting of talents to nature." He had read this somewhere but didn't seem to put much significance to it until now.

"I'm afraid this isn't an issue ot the central continent alone! The cities were build basically as an idea from them. It is also the only place their angents are allowed to move freely as they gather information about talents of clans. It just occurred to me, that maybe the clan sealing of the territory and sending all the best descendants out to cities had more than just having to deal with the internal threats." His words made sense, but even so, Qin Zhu couldn't grasp where he was going with all this.

"What are you trying to say?" She asked.

"The strongest existence in the world today probably is going to recruit disciples!" Hearing this words from Wang Chen, Qin Zhu's eyes narrowed.

Somewhere else, standing on the roof, a woman in white was drinking from a gourd. A man materialized right before her, and it was not suprising, Chengshan.

He looked at woman and asked what had brought him over directly.

"Is there nothing you can do about my grandson?" He indeed liked Wang Lu a lot.

"It's not that I can't help him, but rather he can't bear the torture. In his current state it is even more impossible to learn my path. You should know I have always valued knowledge over everything else. But if he wants to go on this path, he has to open up his Qi Sea. How many people can succeed? Even when it comes to genius, less than 1% are capable of this." She looked at Wang Chengshan with a sneer.

"But why are you asking about this? You should have known already right! This is almost like a dead end and even if some ancestor from your clan takes action, they can at least seal his spiritual damage. It is impossible to heal him unless he is reborn through his own efforts." She said without even looking at the old man.

"Being reborn in this case, means inside to outside. He has to accomplish what most that have been taking the path of cultivating the mind can't accomplish in a long time." She said as she looked at him with a gloomy look.
