"Faith can move mountains!" This was something he didn't seem to have put much thought into in the past, but he just has this thought at the moment.
She kept looking at him as if waiting for a reply, "I think thoughts make us ambitious, while emotions make us human. Spirit makes us unique while will determines how far we can go in anything we do!"
He couldn't just say some grand words, after all he believed what he had said than any grand words.
Li Rong nodded and then shook her head.
"On the path of cultivation, thoughts maketh a path. Spirit drives ambitions and will determines your end point!"
"Have you ever heard of Qi sea?" She suddenly asked something new.
Wang Lu couldn't understand her thought process. That was even more so with the fact that she just started to talk about something else.
Seeing his shake his head, she wasn't shocked.
"In the Cultivation path, there is some unorthodox group that basically focus in the path of tempering their minds. The process of tempering the mind isn't an easy one, and everything lays on the Qi Sea. The first requirements to enter this stage was locating the Qi Sea. The second is having a strong spirit." Li Rong said with a serious expression.
"What is Qi sea?" He didn't understand what this had anything to do with him, but since this senior brought it up, he could just continue to learn, after all for Wang Lu there was nothing he liked than learning.
It seemed that Li Rong was in her domain and thus after asked this question, she had some complacent smirk on her face.
"Qi Sea is not easy to explain! Even most of the older generation don't have any explanation. It can be called as the mind world. It is also the space that stores infinite Qi in our bodies. Some even say this is the innermost cosmos inside the body." When taking about this issue, Li Rong had a very focused look.
But Wang Lu was not bad either, as he continued to listen to her words. It was just he didn't understand why her words seem to make less sense. How could the body heve endless Qi that had not been gotten from the outside world?
But he held this doubts and continued to listen to her words.
"Every human has a Qi sea, but to be able to gain access to it is the problem. Even those that are aware of its existance might still fail to open it. You might be lucky to have already gotten access to the Qi Sea. Well! In your current state though I don't know if this is luck or not."
Having listened to this point, he couldn't help but ask, "Senior means that I have opened my Qi Sea?" He asked with some confusion.
"I didn't say that! You didn't open it, the person who almost killed you opened it. Also let me finish what I'm saying first!" She cut him off ruthlessly.
But he didn't get angry, he just shut up and confined listening to what she wanted to say.
"The Qi Sea is not important anymore, and the thing we should be concerned about is what happens in the Qi sea." She continued.
"The state of mind is actually more or less to do with the state of the Qi sea. For beginners that have just opened the Qi sea, they are called the Fog phase."
She continued to explain, "The Fog phase is the entry stage and also the threshold that many can't even attain in their entire lives. It is also something you are lucky to have encountered but at the same time unlucky." As for why she said this, it was obvious.
She had just told him he didn't open the Qi Sea, and this was an accidental encounter. But the issue was a big problem, for another reason.
Normally it could have been a happy thing but he methods used to attack Wang Lu had opened allowed him to access the Qi Sea. She could easily sense this, but at the same time, his spirit was put at great risk.
The grey fog covering his spirit in the Qi Sea was the biggest threat and could result in his death at any time if not careful.
That was already depressing and yet, he had to think of ways to start his cultivation without agitating the grey fog.
"Your main important role at the moment is try and stabilize the fog. The more stable it is the longer you can live, but your spirit it very weak and might not be able to accomplish much." Li Rong was already where of this.
"Normally, those at the Fog phase have to make sure that their spirit is able to affect the entire fog in the Mind world, eventually forcing it to turn into clouds. Once the clouds take form, it will the Cloud Phase." She thought before giving him some understanding of the process anyway.
"From the cloud phase, you have to make sure the clouds start to form water droplets. After the first water droplet forms, more will accumulate and turn into a drizzle. It is thus called the Drizzle phase. As more of the drizzle occurs, the drops finally form a pool of water." She was explaining the process of rain forming in nature, when the words entered Wang Lu's ears.
"The more the water drops gather, it forms a pool of water, and this is the Stagnant pool phase. A little higher, it becomes a Moving River Phase. Finally you are expected to reach the Mind sea phase! At this point, the entire Qi sea if filled to form a massive ocean." She then turned to look at Wang Lu.
"Do you remember it?" She asked.
Wang Lu indeed did remember, but he had a lot of questions, as such asked what he deemed important.
"What is the cause of the transformation of the fog to the clouds and finally drops?"
Wang Lu just had bring this issue up. He was after all not sure the information he had been given was in any way useful if he didn't even understand this.
"That is simple! You have to either do something that affects the entire fog, by raising the temperature or dropping it. In the case of the mind, any actions would result in the transformation of the fog as long as one has a strong enough drive." She said this, not because she completely understood, rather was quoting her predecessors words.
"The final form is turning Qi Sea into true self, and if you attained this, you could theoretically have become an immortal!" The implication behind this words was simple, no one has reached this stage even the founders of this path.
"You should think about it. The best way to live longer it clearly within the Qi Sea, but also it is possible to make your situation far worse. Think about it yourself." She spoke as her figure finally walked off.
Wang Lu didn't bother to ask more, he just thanked her for the information.
Even though he has some hope, he does even know where to start at all. It was as though he hadn't been told anything in the first place.

After walking out of Wang Lu's room, Li Rong took a step and vanished. She then appeared on some random street in the Zhen City. A middle-age man was sitting under a tree within a courtyard. She walked in and looked at that man, before sitting down.
"You are very interesting! I saw you applying some red flowers on your lips. How come when that man appeared, you went all out to give him a hard time instead?" The man didn't even look at Li Rong as he said this.
"Li Tian! Have been spying on me?" Li Rong asked angrily.
