Chapter 20: Tower of Trials and Chambers.

Towers.

These are structures that appeared alongside the Omega King and its curses. These structures provided scenarios and challenges, and when completed, you're awarded accurate trophies equivalent to the difficulty of the challenge or scenario.

All Towers have things that are called Levels, but most commonly known as Floors. They are ninety-nine of them and they all provide individual challenges. There have been rumors that there is another Floor know as The Last One. But those are just rumors.

Because of this, Hunters back in the day, exploited the Towers mainly instead of Dungeons and Gates.

Nothing else was important. Except, that he had a section on the right that told him about his Quest and a function that allowed to find out about features.

Kris was now located in a luxurious room white yellow lighting and white, and red decorations and interiors. He was at a hotel that is far away from his original base.

"Your King?" Kris said forcefully with his teeth grit and his fist tighten. "What kind of bull is this System spewing?"

Kris clenched and stiffened body was then eased.

"Whatever," he said as he plopped himself on the bed behind him.

Kris turned sideways on his bed, facing the clean white wall with red designs.

"*Sigh*" Kris Let out a sigh of irritation. "I'll get your power, and you'll see who is King."

"Ahh, I'll start this Quest tomorrow. The Reward is seriously tempting."

Kris silently draft himself to sleep. The sky out was still dark, yet it was four in the morning.

It was now day time. Bright, early and sunny. A warm day as well.

Despite Kris having a battle last night and in return, getting four hours of sleep, he was out of the hotel at nine in morning. It took only an hour for him to prepare  and pack himself with supplies. And it took another hour and a half for him to reach his destination: The Tower.

He didn't look like a well prepared person outwardly, yet he was.

All fourteen bags were filled to the brim with food and water. And only food and water. Nothing else. No clothing or tents.

This was because of his venture into the realm of the Dark Demons. The Dark Hell.

It was only his high Vitality that kept him going. He was absolutely dying of hunger, but mainly thrust. In that realm, he would have probably done anything for a cold battle of water if it had it. The entire realm was hot and the only form of liquid was lava.

Kris was now at southwest of the parish Trelawn. Infront of him, a Tower that transcend the clouds, the sky and even the heavens.

"Wow, this thing is huge," said Kris.

A notification suddenly appeared and Kris drafted his attention to read it.

Kris obviously pressed yes.

"If I press no, the whole Continent I'm on will explode," said Kris. "*Sigh* And it's not like I'm on any of the Continents that one of the Wardens are on."

A blue and divine light encompassed Kris's body in bright glow.

"So this is how you are teleported to the Tower?" Kris inquired. "Hopefully it's better than the Gates."

His body the vanished with a trace.

Duration: 7 Days - 168 Hours.

Reward: Bottle of Any Poison.]

Kris was now located in a vaste, yet empty forest. Instead of trees, there were long grass. And instead of mountains, there were trees.

"Hmm. Is the world bigger or am I just smaller?" Kris inquired. "And I have another Quest?"

"Why in the hell do I have so much power? I can literally kill an X-rank if I don't do Quest?!" Kris inquired. "You gotta be fuckin with me?"

"And on top of that, I have to complete this Quest and the one I'm doing right now?" Kris inquired. "Okay, I'll do it after I complete this Floor."

In an instant, more than a million creatures were killed.

"I guess my range doesn't decrease even though I'm small," said Kris.

A blue light surrounded Kris once again. This time taking him to another Floor inside the Tower.

He was now in a dark cave with purple crystal implanted in the walls. Growling from afar and screams. But that didn't concern Kris right now.

"Alright," said Kris while clenching his fist with the Moon Stone in hand. "The reward sudden have been giving me that X-rank s power."

The Moon Stone shattered and he was suddenly teleported somewhere else in a cyan light.

Difficulty: Easy.

Description: The souls of the sinful encompass this cave. Find the exit before being corrupted by their evil deeds that brought them to their eternal torment.

Clear Condition: Find the exit.

Fail Condition: Expiration of Duration.

Penalty: The Total Destruction of your Continent.

Duration: 3 Days - 72 Hours.

Reward: Phantom Scythe.]
