System Bug: Heroine Forced to Marry the Villain

Why does the heroine have to marry the villain? It started just as a game, but now it's her new reality! Pandemic Year 5. Chiaki Spring is just freshly dumped from her years-long relationship. Humankind sees no future, and her working condition is miserable. She’s determined to start life anew by joining a metaverse called the Dome. Chiaki transmigrates into a strong and promiscuous heroine based on the action-adventure game she’s obsessed with. Unfortunately, System forces her to marry the villain character of the original game. Does Lance Hua put his heart into this marriage or view her as merely a tool for power? What big secret lurks underneath this scheming System? ================ Excerpt ================ "I'm not a sophisticated cook; my home cooking is so-so." "I can cook just fine." "Please split the house chores. With my guardianship duty, it's impossible for me to do the housekeeping alone." "Do you think I can't pay for cleaners?" Chiaki looked up from beneath her long lashes. "And lastly, um, don't force me in bed without my consent." The Evil Lord of the Northern region leaned closer, lowering his head until his dark irises turned blurred in her vision. "Do I even look like I want to sleep with you?" ======= This novel shares the same universe as my other novel, Taking Back This Battered World (TBTBW). Lance Knows about My Duplicity

The avenue leading up to South Manor was quiet and dark. Those upright citizens had been in their houses, those not-so-upright dwellers were scattered in the unlit alleys. No nightlife was entertained in the entire Council's jurisdiction. It was probably the design provision made deliberately by the project leaders.

Therefore, when Ignos Fire informed his lord earlier in the afternoon, Lance Hua told Chiaki that his right-hand man was coming, so her men would not need to search this person roaming on the street with his tall horse at night after the curfew.

Being not held up by security measures from the capital city which fell under Chiaki's rule,

Ignos Fire descended from his war horse looking gallant and not travelworn a bit. His blond hair was tied in a high ponytail like Lance's, a navy blue coat covering his neck until his calves.

He walked up past the manor's gate to greet his master that evening after a long journey from the Northern region.
