141 Breath of Death

Ling Quo clung at the gleam of hope and it seemed that her wish was granted! She blinked her eyes several times and looked at Ye Shin with delight.

Ye Shin turned her attention to Ling Quo and gently waved at them.

"You are really young..." she commented.

"As expected of my benefactor! You even recognize me with this form!" Ling Quo responded with a giggle after hearing her words. She silently looked above and did not saw the dark energy anymore. 

But the air remained off. It was like a silent roar, the entire mansion turned still. Yet, the whole ambiance was unsettling and too uncomfortable!

"Ling, this is the breath of death..." Ling Quo heard her brother speak. 

Ye Shin looked around the mansion with scrutinizing gaze. She sensed a wave of intense anger that had started to bubble and could burst at any minute. She could feel that it was a combination of negativity - scorn, fury, and wrath!
