V.3 Chapter 12

The sun had started to go down as the moon started to rise.

After a lot of playing with enemies, Yukan had finally started slaught- killing them.

"*humming* another one bites the dust." Yukan hummed as he stood atop a Kiri swordsman's dead body.

He looked at the three remaining ones and said," When did you bring your twins?"

At his back, Duy hit his hand on his forehead. He was now thinking that Yukan is just some drunkard… a powerful drunkard.

"Hey dad, why does always say the wrong count?" Guy asked his father in a low voice, trying to be discreet.

"Bwaahh! Why are you still here?" Duy got scared when he heard Guy's voice. He had long been thinking that the kids had escaped.

He was so lost in watching Yukan one-sidedly beat the seven that he did not even sense the kids.

"I'll talk later, leave now," Duy said and gestured to them to go in the opposite direction.

In the fight, the three remaining Kiri swordsmen heard the sounds and looked at each other.

They all nodded at once and rushed in Duy and the kids' direction.

Within moments, Yukan had taken out his sword and swung it in a circle. It should have killed all the three remaining but only two died.

One of them had already changed his route, he betrayed the others.

"You good?" Yukan asked Duy.

Duy nodded. Guy and his squad had already escaped from the area.

Yukan disappeared and chased after the one who escaped.

Juzo, the one who made out, was running without stopping. He understood the situation and felt it was the right thing to not stop.

"I have to ask, why did you even betray them? You maybe could have killed the one in green tights." Yukan said as he appeared in front of Juzo. Yukan was no longer feeling drunk and in the mood for fun, he was serious.

Juzo continued running and took the chance to swing his sword at Yukan. He used all his strength in the swing.

When the sharp edge of the sword was near Yukan's neck, he used one hand to catch the sword. Since he did not use any barrier, the sword made a scratch on his hand.

Yukan looked at the blood that flowed out of his hand and said in amazement," It's been very long since I saw this…Anyways, I'm curious, answer my question and I will give you a quicker death."

Yukan then proceeded to lift Juzo from his neck using the other hand.

"Ha-ha. Were not true comrades. We just survived off of each other… I know you will kill me, just respect my blade." Juzo said and closed his eyes.

His executioner blade was the only thing he cares about.

Yukan said nothing and took out a sword from his system and cut Juzo's neck.

Yukan then picked up the executioner's blade, yawned and started walking back to where Duy was.

"Thank you so much for the help, Mr..?" Duy said as soon as he saw Yukan once again.

"Yukan Norio. Nice to meet you by the way." Yukan said as he walked around and took the swords from the dead bodies of the swordsmen.

"Yes, nice to me– Wait, did you just say that you are Yukan Norio?" Duy was surprised. No one in Konoha had not heard his name.

"Yup. Want something?" Yukan asked as he continued his work.

"No, no I just wanted to say, thank you for your service, sir," Duy said.

"Haha, of course. No need to be so polite. Anyways, it is getting dark, and my boss at home would punish me if I don't complete my work. Give these to the Hokage and tell him what happened. Bye." Yukan said and walked back to the place where he was sitting before he came here.

When he stood there, he thought of pouring chakra into the seals right now but, after some thinking, he decided to do it tomorrow.

Since it was getting late, he did not have time to do this since he had something else to do.

Yukan put both the seals in the box and put the box in his system subspace as he walked inside the village.

In the village, he could see a lot of people enjoying the evening with their families. Yukan would look at the fathers carrying their children on their shoulders.

Their moms run behind, shouting that the father will get a backache like this.

Yukan smiled seeing all this and remembered the old days when his family was like this.

He walked to the nearest flower shop and bought some flowers.

"It's almost 6 p.m. I still have some time." Yukan said as he took the two bouquets and disappeared into the crowd.

He walked to the graveyard in the night.

Not walking too far, he saw his father's grave and put a bouquet in front of it and the other one in front of his mother's which was right beside.

"Hey mom, dad. It is today, your death anniversary, dad. I think here I am, again alone. Anyways, what I wanted to tell you, mom do you kno–" As Yukan was speaking, a soft voice came from behind.

"Yukan? Are you finally here?" Kushina asked.

"Hmm? Why are you here, Kushina?" Yukan asked confusedly. It was not that he was unhappy, rather, he was very happy to be with Kushina right now.

"I knew you would come here, I just did not know you would take the whole day," Kushina said as she sat beside Yukan.

"Were you waiting the whole day?"

"Umm, yeah."

"Hehe." Yukan smiled and hugged Kushina and put his head on her chest.

Then, Yukan felt very happy and looked at his dad's grave and whispered in a very light voice,"...Your future daughter-in-law, dad."

That day, Kushina and Yukan had fun all night roaming around the streets of Konoha like a new couple.

-The next day-

Yukan was back to the place he was the previous day. He sat down and took out the box.

"Let's do it," Yukan said and poured his chakra into the first seal.

As soon as he did that, a projection like a screen appeared in front of his eyes and his mother and father appeared on the screen. They both stood beside each other, like a happy couple and had vibrant smiles on their faces.

"Hey, cutie pie. How are you? I hope you are good..." Aayu started to speak.

Hearing her voice and seeing both his dead parents, made tears fall from his eyes unconsciously.

Though he knew that they were just in a recording, he could not control his emotions anymore.

"And talking about this, wait a minute, I just remembered something, Hyatt, where did you go today wearing the jacket? It is still just September." Aayu asked in an inspecting tone.

"I-I seem to have caught a cold and the weather was pretty cold so…"

Yukan suddenly started laughing with the tears still falling down from his eyes.
