Chapter 47: Church Breakdown

Eader popping up at that moment, slinging that random guy was awesome, the energy around her calmed down and she partially exclaimed," what took you so long?!" It made him smile and made her come to her senses.

The pair of diverse racial men looked at each other, they knew who the guy that Eader slung backwards was the driver. He was just meant to stay where he was and do his damn job, but no he messed that up too.

They both gave a maddened sigh, then went back to concentrating. A thought came to the black guy's mind, as he looked at the driver. He was next to them but he used the situation as if they at least brought one it would be better, than none. He made eye contact with the blue haired guy, who was still on the floor.

He looked at the other guy on the floor, possibly unconscious, but that was fine. The guy understood what he meant. He was disposable as he was just a stupid guy looking for cash, nothing good on him. He used all his strength and grabbed him which flung him onto Eader .

It came as a surprise so he fell down, and at that time, they both ran with all their might to the truck, passing Eader and the guy on their right. Mythra was too slow to do anything, but Eader was. He kicked the guy off him, with no second thought and sprinted. They got into the truck that was hours earlier filled with food, with Evalynn with them at the front. They started the engine, with the doors open of the truck, Eader with all his might and power ran. He was a cheetah and before they were too fast.

CLUNG!

Eader got the door handle and used momentum to pull himself in, and took an accomplished breath, but hung on as they were going fast. Very fast.

A lady getting a phone call saying that there are kidnappers trying to kidnap someone was rare but happened, so the lady used all her might to tell everyone. They did not get onto the scene at their fastest but it was a few minutes later when the kid called. Two police cars, with blue and red lights on and blaring sounds were rushing there as fast as they could.

Four men or people over all in the two cars. When arriving they saw food in crates and battle marks. They got out of their cars, three with guns and the strongest with their sword out. One man, dull blonde haired, walked to the broken and saw Mythra and called loudly, "here, there is someone here! " the all rushed over.

The man felt her, still alive and good looking. A group of two people started walking over to him, the lady that got the call looked at her through the broken down door.

Must have been painful to anybody getting launched through that. The. She saw another guy, who, in her opinion, looked like a gangster. She walked over to him, while the other three clueless people were caring for the fallen angel. He looked like a bomb dropped on him.

It must have been painful whatever he went through.

She saw if she somehow could get him awake but she knew it was no use. She looked at the other guys, arguing what to do with her. She ordered, "guys, call reinforcements, this might be a big one," then another guy screamed in realisation, "oh, this is Mythra, from Woodjin!"

The other two started talking, and she also got into the action.

This could be good for me.

But she shook her hard and reordered, "call them!" agitated the man did not follow her order the first time. He started to move slowly but after seeing the face of his chief, he moved faster to the car. After he made the call, another person shouted louder than the other one, "SHE IS AWAKE, SHE IS CONSCIOUS!"

It scared the life out of her. She took a breather from the jump she had and walked over to her, so did the other guy. She leaned forward, making a groaning noise, then got startled by the people in front of her but did not show it.

"Hello, who are you?" Then she glanced at all of the people, two of them pointed at their badged and he understood it, and showed it by nodding. She turned frantically, and asked," Is there another person?" One of them pointed and the lady said," he was the only person we found on the scene, do you know him?"

She growled at the injured man Eader attacked and said," no, he was one of the kidnappers," said calmly realising that her friend got kidnapped because she was to weak.

She gave a defeated face, the chief saw and reassured, `Don't worry, we will find your friend, we got professionals right now on the way." But she did not look back, just stared into the abyss.

However, the abyss collapsed. Nobody expected it, but the blaring light, which was flashing, turned from her saviour, to a blinding laser.

"LOOK OUT!!!"
