Chapter 43: Church Breakdown

The whole class were walking to the hall, the same hall Eader and Samuel got called out by Adam. This made Eader chuckle quietly to himself, when Samuel got chills, touching his face but releasing that he had no glasses.

He gave a sad face which Jennifer saw the whole thing and felt guilty about it. "This is just me showing you techniques on sword fights. Some of you, I hope, will know some, they help you win in a fight and protect you at the same time, instead of aimlessly swinging against your opponent."

He then looked around, and there was another person there, she grabbed out a huge mat and laid it through half of the hall's floor.

A few people replied with sad faces replied with bitter faces, the detective noticed them and then he replied, with an eye a bit closed," we may have a few spars, but only for the people that have experience, ok," the look he gave was serious as he did not want injured kids in his arms. He then went on about blocking and more things about stuff that Gramps already told him.

This allowed Eader to think about what he will do at the place he was going. Later he got people congratulating him for helping the volunteers as this is what he won, but not something to celebrate over.

That helped you find jobs easier so Eader did not mind, and they told him to arrive at the church at 4.30, he was fine about it, but then he had to go to Gramp's place to train, which they were doing light training sessions, for Eader's health as not fully recovered from anything. He was fine with how everything was going.

Time flew by very fast as a few people came up and had a few spar fights. The spars were not that long only for thirty seconds as not dressed in the right attire but people like it anyhow. He kept on talking and as Eader was thinking he started to doze off.

They all were sitting on chairs, put down by the friendly lady. It was almost the end of the lesson but the detective noticed, which annoyed him. He then said," hello, "he got no response," can you wake him up like a nudge," the person he asked was a person less in class, but he knew that by just analysing which person would do that, as the person sitting next to him on the other side would have not done so.

This woke him up, he was startled, realising that everyone was staring at him. "Maybe be you need a bit of energy and a wake-up call for slumbering in my lesson," he grimly smiled," be my dummy," this made a few people laugh.

He made no complaint, grabbed the sword lying beside his chair as equidistantly spread out of each other and he did not have to squidge through anybody as they all had a good distance between them.

This made him arrive on the tarp and the detective said cheekily and full of glory," now not too hard, but can you block for me, unless you do not know how to block," most of the class laughed.

Eader gave a blank stare but said "yes, I do know how to block," he could have been cheeky but he had to save his energy to did not do so. "Now I will do it slowly," he abruptly struck, trying to scare him and make him wake up, but backfired.

Eader noticed and blocked, making the perfect X. This surprised him as he moved into him. He moved back," impressive, that was a top tear block, as the angling in the situation is important, he then said something which he did not do. "

It's important to use all the muscle in your body to push the person back," the thing he said was common sense, most people knew that but he got an idea from it.

After a few other tricks, he told Eader to sit down, which he was fine with, but one thing dawned on him, the idea he had. They all left the room and Eader was the first person to arrive at the room.

Eader ran to the church full of spirit, he got there a bit late, but to Eader's shock, there were two familiar faces. It was a long road stretch so you could see all the baskets and the lorries, well only a single lorry.

Evalynn and surprisingly Mythra were there standing next to a person, probably the instructor. He arrived and greeted him, the guy wore reflexive clothing on the upper body with a dark blue t-shirt and brown trousers.

Their eyes were filled with confusion, when done talking Mythra spoke to him," why are you here?" The face showed a bit of annoyance but in reality, she was elevated to see him, less work for her.

He replied," I accidentally got into this," he gave a cheeky smile and an irritated grit. Then the same man walked up to them three," did you get to know each other?" He clasped his hands together," let's get to work kiddos," he clasped his hands together, and Mythra gave a feared but resistant look.

They started following the mobile person. They walked on a bright grass green field, it made a rustling sound. There was a wooden fairly rusted gate, the iron lock was corroded. He opened the door cautiously.

He held it so the rest could enter, this pleased her, making her smile. The guy saw, showing his beige teeth, but they stood out with his black skin. There was a huge shed, opposite of the door. It was clean and new. it could fit all of them three times fold, he said before entering, "alright, you guys grab the baskets, ok, then load them with food on to here, from the truck," it was snappy. The three kids walked in, one at a time.

Mythra stopped before looking at it and reluctantly picked up the box, which in site was the cleanest. Eader's had mud on it. It did not mind him, but it did mind Mythra, she inhaled and sucked it up. Eader dashed out surprisingly fast, which made the two feel they should be a bit faster.

They plopped on to the lorry filled with mountains of food, they were either canned food or rice or nuts. Mythra saw a can of honey which had the label, buzzy bee, she turned and grabbed a handful of things not filling it up, and walked away.

Evalynn and Eader both stayed behind, filling them more up. Evalynn was finished, but had a loose jar at the top which she tried to roll at the bottom end of the half filled basket, she could not and it tipped over.

If not for Eader catching it with his foot, it would have smashed everywhere. He balanced it on his foot, she was impressed but then noticed she had to pick up, but before moving Eader launched it up in the air into her basket, she said," thanks for that." Eader looked at her then noticed how much she was carrying.

"No problem," but he did not stop there, he put her on the floor and grabbed a few of her stuff into his," what you don't have to," she said nervously, and embarrassed.

"It's ok," he said, giving another smile, she gave a fake comedic sad smile. He laughed, and when they were done, Mythra came in. She blankly stared at them and they made themselves back to work. After about ten minutes, Eader and Evalynn were at the same speed, so he thought of creating a conversation.

"So, why are you doing this?" The question caught her off guard, and replied after a few stutters," um, uh, well, I, uh, was forced by my parents," she said, concentrating on not dropping the food. Footprints were being left while walking on the grass, however, they were distinct so people could not tell except for one.

Evalynn continued the conversation when she placed down the box, "why are you here?" she said cheekily, while bending herself making herself be smaller, which was hard as she was a bit bigger, she put her hands on her hips.

Then she realised how silly it was and became beet red standing normally. He laughed hysterically, which made him stop putting things into the basket. "Um, ok, I won a prize when I, hah, gave things away, "he took a long breath, Evalynn was still embarrassed.

"Hey come on, that was cute," he said trying to cheer her up," then, why did you laugh?" giving a sad smug face. He then cheerfully replied, "because, you are cute," then he raised what he said and quickly dashed away, putting the luxurious blonde pineapple slices into the green rotten basket, just to never see it again.
