Start of Journey
When I woke up I checked my surroundings to make sure last night wasn't a dream. After verifying my dumb thought I tried to pull myself out of bed when I was moving my body felt flexible and fast. I couldn't imagine that the tortu- whoops, I mean training would help me this much.
After getting out of bed I walked to the mirror in the corner of the small cramped room. When I saw my reflection I just couldn't help but smile. I mean wow, if you saw me walking down the street you would be at a loss for words.
'Im going to ask the system questions in my head from now on to not look like a psychopath in front of people.', I say to myself in my mind. I ask the system wherein the timeline we are and she responded to me with { We are right before Zeus dies. I suggest we leave for Orario before that happens. }
I had a thought in my head that I could save him, but that thought quickly left my mind because he totally faked his death. But I could be wrong with this hypothesis so I will do as Diane says for better or for worse.
After that discussion, I walk, out of my room and into the living room where Zeus is sleeping on the couch. Before I could say or do anything I see him quickly get up from the bed and walk toward me and pat my shoulders and said in a serious tone
Zeus: Hey, are you ready to go to Orario. Just know that you don't have to go.
Avery: Yes I do know Grandpa it's just that I'm a little sad to leave you and the village.
I say in a sad tone even though I'm lying and faking it all which he probably already knows because he's a god.
Zeus gave a weird expression before turning into a carefree one and says
Zeus: Alright, now let's hop on the carriage outside and I'll take you to the Town of the Labyrinth, Orario.
I look at him with excitement before running down the outside stairs and into the carriage. When I was in the carriage I had a confused and bewildered look on my face, because of the fact that I was running way faster then I could in College.
After thinking for a while riding to Orario I realized that It was because of the training from the Training Hall. I could guess this is what it meant by Flexible Body and Dense Muscles.
While riding to Orario I and Zeus talked about all the adventures I will have and about that I should have a harem and what-not. Before long we made it to a huge gate that said welcome to Orario. I looked at Zeus with a smile that could have excitement written all over it.
When I, was about to leave Zeus stopped me and said with a voice full of sadness
Zeus: Hold on, I have some valis for you so, that you could get some adventure gear before you go into the dungeon so that you don't die from a single strike of a goblin.
As he said that he handed me a small bag filled to the brim with golden-colored coins. I looked at him with a face colored with gratitude and said
Avery: Thank you, Grandpa, I'll always remember you when holding this bag.
He gave me a smile and then laughed with his old raspy voice and pushed me a little toward the gate and said "Go on. " and so started my journey of tears, laughs, and battle. (ง ͠° ͟ل͜ ͡°)ง.
As I walked toward the gate the guard stopped me and asked for my I.D. and a few pieces of valis for an entry fee. Once done paying the man I pushed open the gate and saw bustling stands full of different people from all kinds of races and places.
As well as a huge tower that went all the way past the clouds wich I recognized immediately as the Tower of Babel. After admiring the beauty of Orario I walked towards the place where I would begin my, career as an adventurer, the Adventurers Guild.
As I was walking I had a lot of people staring at me in a weird way, the girls who saw me had saliva coming out of there mouths as how they looked at a fresh slab of meat and the boys glared with disdain and envy. I just ignored them and continued to walk not before long to arrive at my destination as Google Maps would say.
Once there I got greeted with the same states everywhere while the women in the back were all fighting on who would be my advisor. Before long a woman known as Eina came out and looked at me differently then the other girls did and welcomed me inside to get my registration.
While I was answering the questions Eina asked I asked the system if Freya was watching me yet and before I could even finish my sentence a woman that looked like the personification of beauty came in and slammed her hand right in front of me and whispered in my ear
Freya: I want you to join my famil-
Before she could finish her sentence I, said to her with an uninterested tone
Avery: Sorry honey U don't want to join your family just yet.
She looked at me with surprise written all over her face before she said
Freya: Then when are you going to join my familia.
I looked at her directly in the eyes and said in a joking but cold voice
Avery: I'll join your familia when I'm ready. By the way, if you want me to join your familia just because of my looks you got yourself no familia member here because I plan to be at the top of this city and no one is going to get in my way.
She looked surprised once again but this time she got herself together faster and had her own cold look in her eyes before flipping her hair with her hand and leaving very dramatically.
I look back at Eina and tell her to proceed with the questions. When I was done she gives me a list of Familias that are recruiting adventurers. But I told her I didn't need it and leave the Adventurers Guild.
As I walk around the town to get used to the layout I walk toward the Hephaestus familia and ask Hephaestus if I can join her familia. She replied to me with a question of her own
Hephaestus: Why is it that you want to join my familia?
Avery: Because I want to learn how to be a Blacksmith.
