Farewell.

『Rivelune ~ Western Bridge』

As they boarded land crawler-kun, they traveled across the western bridge made of water and ice.

The bridge was a sight to behold, with water on the base and ice on the surface.

The water shone a bright blue, reflecting the light of the sun, while the ice surface glistened.

As they moved across the bridge, the water and ice shifted and rippled, creating a gentle and calming sensation.

Rumia commented on how beautiful the bridge was and how it was a symbol of the water spirit tribe's strength and power.

Lutessa agreed and said that it also showed how resourceful the tribe was in making use of their surroundings.

As they passed the halfway mark on the bridge, Undine's voice echoed in their heads.

"I cannot express enough gratitude for what you have done for my tribe. We were at the mercy of the Byzan Army, and you saved us. I owe you a great debt." (Undine)

Rumia smiled and replied, "It was our pleasure to help one of the four great spirits. Elves worship the spirits, so it was an honor for me to have had the chance to assist one."

Archibald and Lamperogue nodded in agreement, thanking Undine for her kind words.

Undine continued, "I regret that I can't do more to show my gratitude, but please rest assured that you are always welcome in our village."

As the land crawler reached the end of the bridge, Lutessa wondered aloud, "I wonder where Mr. Rolo and the others are."

Archibald answered, "They're probably back in the village by now."

Just then, Rolo, Larc, Felinela, and Fatima arrived on the scene. Larc exclaimed, "You're leaving already? Not even a goodbye?"

Archibald laughed, "I didn't want to trouble you guys with it."

They all shared a warm laugh, happy to have each other's company one last time before they parted ways.

As land crawler-kun came to a halt, Lobo, Archibald's magnificent white wolf, began to lick him uncontrollably.

Archibald laughed heartily while trying to push Lobo away gently, "Stop it, Lobo! We have people watching, show some restraint!"

Lutessa grinned and observed, "It seems like Sir Knight has gotten attached to Lobo."

"Indeed," Archibald admitted with a nod while Lobo barked happily.

Meanwhile, Rolo and Larc approached Archibald and Lamperogue at the cart.

Larc expressed his gratitude and wished them a safe journey ahead, "I hope you guys return soon; you will always be welcome amongst us."

Rolo agreed and added, "We look forward to meeting you again, so I can regale my tales of heroism!"

Archibald chuckled, "Like how you lost to a Ranker?"

Rolo turned to Larc with a frown, "Why did you have to tell them that?"

Larc waved his hand dismissively, "I didn't say anything."

Rolo shrugged and laughed, "It's okay, Archibald. When we meet again, we'll have a rematch!"

Archibald grinned, "I am looking forward to the day when I turn the tables on you."

Lamperogue wondered aloud, "When do you guys plan on leaving?"

Larc replied, "We'll be leaving in a week or so, back to the Beldris Kingdom."

Archibald smiled and said, "Safe travels. Until we meet again!"

Fatima and Felinela approached Rumia and Lutessa.

They found them talking about magical spells.

"I'm going to miss you ladies," Fatima said, wistfully.

Lutessa smiled, "Me too. But we'll see each other again soon, right?"

"Absolutely, and I'll make sure to teach you some more water magic spells," Fatima promised.

Felinela piped up, "Do you guys want to see some fireworks?"

Rumia groaned, "If it involves explosions, count me out."

Felinela pouted, "But explosions are the best!"

Lutessa interjected, "Um, Miss Felinela... I think we should hold off on any fireworks for now. We're on a bridge of water and ice; we wouldn't want to cause any damage."

Felinela sighed, "I guess you're right. No explosions for today."

She began to sulk while holding her magic stave.

Rumia chuckled, "Only Felinela would be disappointed about not being able to set off explosives on a bridge."

Felinela rolled her eyes, "Hey, if you got it, flaunt it."

The group laughed as the land crawler began to move, taking them away from their new friends and into new adventures.

Lobo howled long and hard, bidding farewell to the new friends they had made.

Lutessa sat back down in the cart.

Archibald noticed the warmth in Rumia's smile and knew that he had made the right choice in following her on this journey.

"Safe travels you all!" Rolo shouted from afar.

Undine's voice echoed in their heads, "You'll always have a place here.." she said.

"You should all come visit me at the Wolf Fang Guild in the Beldris Kingdom some time soon!" Larc yelled from across the bridge.

"Yeah, we'll definitely swing by," Archibald shouted back, giving Larc a thumbs up.

Rolo added, "And I hope you'll be even stronger than before when you do!"

"You can bet on that!" (Archibald)

Lamperogue nodded in agreement without turning back to face them.

They moved further away from the village.

Thanks to the cold-resistant charm they got in thev Red Desert, land crawler-kun won't have any issues traveling through the Rabastines.

Hopefully, they wouldn't fight as much ice golems as before.

Suddenly, Rumia spoke up. "You guys... we should come back here soon," she suggested.

Archibald nodded in agreement.

"Definitely, with the heat in the Red Desert, I'll miss Rivelune a whole lot." (Archibald)

Lamperogue interjected dryly, "Does that mean we're officially a party now?"

After all, Rumia did use the word - "we," meaning group.

Everyone looked at Rumia, waiting for her response.

She took her time to think, then finally said, "Why not? We've been traveling together for the past three weeks, after all."

Archibald pumped his fist excitedly while Lobo howled in agreement.

"It's official, we're a team!" he announced.

Lutessa bowed her head while seated in the cart.

"...I'm honored that you all would have me in your party. Thank you, Sir Knight, Miss Rumia and Mr. Rogue..." (Lutessa)

"Likewise, you're an amazing girl," Archibald complimented her, making her blush.

"Like he said, you're amazing, and also kind." (Rumia)

Lobo barked several times, speaking kind words of his own.

In whatever language he spoke that is.

"You're both so kind!" (Lutessa)

Lamperogue remained silent and folded his arms, but Archibald playfully jabbed him in the side.

"Come on, show some excitement!" (Archibald)

Lamperogue muttered, "I'm excited," but the deadpan expression on his face suggested otherwise.

They all laughed at the exchange, excited for the journeys that awaited them as a team.
