"We were so close… So much closer", Yasaki said with a heavy breath.

All five villages were finally falling back before half of their forces from the lines were drawn back due to Yasaki and Sakumo destruction. They all were invited to force sign a peace treaty to cover trouble brewing over by Yasaki and Sakumo.

But in the process of it all. They Irked all five nations. No one gave a second thought when all 4 nations except Konoha came together to get rid of Sakumo and Yasaki.

During their return to Konoha, Sakumo and Yasaki were ambushed, The assassins were wearing chakra suppression tag, Yasaki even while being a sensor couldn't sense anything. His instincts could have made it possible to dodge these kinds of attacks. But he couldn't for some reason.

He was not sure what is going on. But there was no time to think.

It was a sudden attack and there was nothing they could do at this point.

It was even a miracle and testament to their brilliant skills that they could run away from this.

But it seemed some god hated them as Yasaki pushed injured and tired Sakumo to the side. And took a bone-crushing spike attack on his right thigh. Impaling him.

He cursed and gritted his teeth, as he watched several Assassins coming at him.

Injured and tired Sakumo on the other hand managed to duck another water jutsu as he swings his short sword and killed all attackers following them in one single attack. As he came near Yasaki and picked him up.

"Leave me, old man, You are tired and Injured already", he stopped to take heavy breaths as he gulped his dry throat, "Go, I will cover your back"

"What are you talking about, Family stick together", Sakumo said as he picked Yasaki on his back.

This nickname had gotten far over the Lands during this 1 year...

He has been in constant battle this last year along with Sakumo Hatake, forcing Kages onto their knees with his bizarre dodging skills, and for more than 11 months no one was able to even touch Yasaki let alone hit him.

Sakumo Hatake is even worse a threat. His skills are wide and cover all areas, Not to mention he was clearly stronger than his son. But he is not a god. Madara and Hashirama were in a league of their own. In a combined assassination attempt by four Villages.

Even that Legendary White Fang has to cower.

There was only so much one could eat ration bars, cans, and soldier pills before suffering from malnutrition. Combine with the body overworking itself from deflecting their pursuers other nutrients the body stores over a long period of time has been gone as well.

"Damn it…" Yasaki cursed as he did a baseball slide into the trench and scraped his leg badly as he began to heal it quickly.

During this time, He had to let go of his honor as an Honourable swordsman as he played medic, decoder, assassin, He killed many with poison, traps, and tricks that Sakumo devised.

It was during this time, He realized he has been relying on one single thing. Destruction. He was not very good at Decoding. Medic, He wasn't even good at doing the stealth Assassination.

He was fighting like a Muscle Headed warrior all this time, While his enemies took advantage of this. As a result, The already weakened and tired Yasaki got impaled once again before finding a new hideout a few moments ago.

"We don't have much out here and we're surrounded", Sakumo came back to his hiding spot from scouting the enemies

Sakumo ordered as he climbed out of the trench, standing and looking towards the Assassins that had moved along nicely.

Sakumo made hand signs, and he was in the mist cloud all of a sudden and released his chakra through his points as he instantly targeted all of them in the mist and took them out with one shot each time before he ran with the mist, using his Short Sword to dodge and kill the enemy

Red Lightning flashed out in the Mist, taking out long-ranged enemies in an instant.

Yasaki easily dodged blindly thrown weapons into the mist and used his bizarre footwork to dodge a second before attacked with paper bombs.

Yasaki was already tired and impaled. His chakra was exhausted. Before he saw Sakumo in the same condition as well.

Yasaki sighed and gave up. This is their end.

At that moment, there was a huge wall moving for him.

He was tackled by someone as he was thrown away

He scrapped across the land with an 'oomph' from the weight landing on top of him.

Yasaki heard the voices of Thousand birds. As he watched Kakashi piercing through the enemies like a knife cutting soft butter.

Even Kushina was making havoc out there.

"Yasaki", came another voice as she sits near him.

Before she looked at Kakashi and hesitated, "Kakashi"
