chapter 38: chain, world organization

Remon and the Beast jumped out of the room, leaving behind a trail of shock and terror. The sudden departure was so abrupt that it left the onlookers stunned, their mouths agape and their eyes wide with fear.

Remon and the beast landed on the school's football pitch, their eyes locked in a tense stare from a mere meter or two apart. Remon's smile played on his lips as he expertly spun his daggers around his fingers, his gaze never wavering:

"Who sent you here?" he asked, his voice laced with a hint of amusement.

The beast sneered, its human disguise beginning to melt away like wax:

"What makes you think I'll tell you, little knight?" it taunted, its voice dripping with contempt.

"You're barely a level three. Leave now, kid. I'm not here for you. I came to observe how humans interact with each other, and I must say, I'm not impressed."

As the beast's human skin continued to dissolve, its true form began to emerge. Remon's smile didn't falter, his eyes glinted with fierce intensity.

"Am not here to fight you but to capture you, and am not alone" Remon said.

It's human skin completely piled of, it reveled a orange skin with sharp pointy ears, white hair and it had grown a bit taller than remon and it's fingernails become black:

"Don't call as beasts just because we're from another world, like humans were here to explore. And my name is Albeoan if you don't mind calling me that "

"you should have tried another planet, we human don't corp well with species's that are not our own, you'll be treated like a dog! " Remon continued:

"and if you don't believe, those guys will prove it"

Albeoan scanned his surroundings, but there was nothing in sight. He turned back to face Remon, only to feel a sudden, sharp pain that sent him crashing into unconsciousness.

Remon's gaze shifted to the person who had just taken down Albeoan. It was his sister, clad in the same suit as Emily, but with a distinctive badge on her chest, an emblem of the earth with a sword on it. Her long blue hair flew past her shoulders as she spoke:

"Remon, hurry up and carry him; we need to get out of here before the higher ups arrive."

Remon quickly complied, hoisting Albeoan onto his shoulder. As they prepared to jump away, a man suddenly appeared in front of them, clad in a black suit and adorned with military badges:

"That belongs to the States, Ariana," the man said, addressing Remon's sister.

Ariana's response was firm:

"Dad, this belongs to the World Organization, not the States. You decided to come to Portland; no one asked you to." Remon watched the exchange in silence, his eyes fixed on the tense scene unfolding before him.

"What do you mean world organization, did they come here to stop your clan wars? The world organization has just taken in this school because of everyone who come from the sword grounds, and the worst part is my kids are on their side too. Put him down or bare the consequences of your actions" he said his voice commanding as he landed on the ground.

"When we walked out of the sword grounds, no one came to us we went to the world organization" Ariana spoke.

"That's another one of your dumb choices like the one that got your mom killed, if it wasn't for you she'd be alive.

In the blink of an eye, Remon had moved behind his father, his eyes blazing with anger. His left hand was wrapped around his father's neck, holding a dagger in place, the blade pressed menacingly against his skin. Remon's face was set in a stern expression, his usual playful grin nowhere to be seen.

"You can talk about Mom or whatever you like," Remon growled, his voice low and even:

"but don't threaten my sister."

"Remon, come back!" Ariana shouted, her voice laced with urgency, but Remon didn't flinch. He was always fiercely protective of his sister, and when anyone threatened her, he became unyielding. Since their mother's passing, Remon had become deeply devoted to Ariana, prioritizing her safety above all else.

His father's words were laced with menace:

"I'll give you a chance to remove that dagger from my throat or die."

But Remon remained resolute, his expression unyielding. He wouldn't back down, even if it meant disobeying his father's orders.

Ariana's voice was the only sound that broke the silence, her words a desperate attempt to defuse the situation:

"Remon, please!" she pleaded

Ariana's fear for her brother's safety propelled her into action. She glanced down at Albeoan, still unconscious on the ground, before turning to Remon and grasping his arm. With a firm grip, she pulled him away from their father, steering him in the opposite direction.

Their father's parting words hung in the air:

"Good girl, if possible, find whoever the Grand One and Mr. Komi are. If you do, come tell me, and I'll spare your brother for what he did with that Will be even." He grasped Albeoan's hand, and they vanished into thin air.

Ariana's concern for Remon's recklessness boiled over, and she spun around, slapping him squarely on the cheek:

"What did you think you were doing?" she demanded, her voice laced with a mix of anger and worry.

Remon's quiet apology:

"Sorry, sister," was met with a stern gaze from Ariana. However, as she looked into his eyes, her anger dissipated, replaced by relief that he was unharmed. She embraced him tightly, her voice softening:

"Don't do that again."

Mark sprinted through the forest, dodging trees with agile leaps as he desperately fled from the terror behind him. He scaled a towering tree in a few swift movements, using the branches as a launching point to jump back down to the ground. The maneuver gained him some distance from the monstrosity, but the sound of snapping trees and crunching underbrush echoed through the forest, closing in fast.

"Shit, how did I run into that bastard so soon?"
