Chapter 43 - Anko and Hideyoshi

Third person POV

 Later, at lunchtime, Roxas and Minato hang out on the school rooftop while eating lunch. Anko and Hideyoshi are with them as well. The weather was a bit cloudy.

 "Man, you and I have been elected into the Student Council now," Minato said to Roxas while eating his Japanese lunch in a bento box.

 "Yeah, we were," replied Roxas back while taking a bite of his potato in his Filipino-Japanese bento lunch.

 "Was it tough to accept them, right?" Anko asked Roxas.

 "Yes, it was. I had been watching a lot of anime, so I know that very well."

 "Woah, otaku…" Minato commented on this.

 "Yes, I am," responded Roxas.

 "Hey, Minato-kun," Hideyoshi said to Minato in cheering for him, "you got this."

 "Oh, thanks, man," responded Minato with enthusiasm and being motivated by Hideyoshi.

 After some time, Roxas and Minato were done eating their lunch, and both proceeded to their personal things to wait the rest of the one-hour lunchtime. Roxas is reading his favorite book, while Minato is playing in his Nintendo gaming console. Anko and Hideyoshi watch them do their favorite things. But then, Evil Kirito and Evil Keita teleported into the scene, surprising and scaring the heck out of Minato and Roxas. Roxas just shivered instead of a full-out scare attack. Anko and Hideyoshi, in response to this, defended their vessels from them.

 "Congratulations, to both of you," Evil Keita said to Roxas and Minato directly while his friend is clapping his hands slowly.

 "For what?" Roxas asked back.

Stopping his applause, Evil Kirito responded back with a smirk, "For getting elected into the Student Council of this school, of course."

 "Hey! Leave us alone!" Hideyoshi responded to this in retaliation.

Pointing his sword at him, Evil Kirito became angry and cold at his rebellion. "Do you want to die, young one?"

 "Ha! You can't! I am already dead, and I am this guy's spirit guardian now!"

For the last part, Hideyoshi grabbed Minato's arm and put it closer to him to prove a point.

 "Yeah, we are!" Minato replied back with pride.

Anko then held Roxas' hand and said, "I am here for you, dude."

Roxas looked at him and positively smiled. "Thanks, Anko-kapatid."

Roxas now invented a new honorific out of a Filipino word for sibling.

Anko heard that and was taken aback by it, but the spirit eventually liked it fast as a lightning.

 Evil Kirito and Evil Keita didn't like this, and Evil Keita eventually took his weapon and stabbed Minato to test Hideyoshi's claim, much to Roxas and Anko's shock. "What the…? Hey!" Roxas responded to this with an imitated British accent. "Minato is in his uniform!"

 "I don't care." Evil Keita chuckled darkly, before pulling his weapon out with blood.

But then, Hideyoshi healed Minato's stab wound immediately, proving what Hideyoshi had said was true.

Upon seeing that, the two Elite Players were shocked with disbelief, now knowing that Minato became the second player in the game to have a spirit guardian.

 "That stupid spirit!"

 "Damn those dead people!"

Hideyoshi and Anko couldn't help but laugh at their rants, teasing them a lot.

Those two dead players had gotten along more and more.

Feeling humiliated, Evil Kirito and Evil Keita just teleported from the scene, much to Minato and Roxas' relief.

 But then, later at night in his room, Minato was sleeping when suddenly, he had a dream, where he and Hideyoshi were standing in a void, the same one that appeared in Roxas' dreams. This time, in Minato's, Asuna, the normal Asuna, was chained in the same way Kirito and Eugeo were, much to Minato and Hideyoshi's shock.
