Half an hour later, Happy, Thunderous Battle, and his entire group appeared in the chamber with the mechanism in a crystal mine. 

Their mighty group had been reduced to one-fifth of its original size!

Because of the establishment of the alliance of the five sects, each of them could only have one-fifth of each of the second level of the mines. By doing so, it was easy for them to maintain their relationship and stay close enough to fight together. If they ran into any enemies, they would not be defeated, and all five sects could react at the same time. 

There were nearly forty people there, and they split into three groups to enter the chamber. 

Some of the players in the first level were stunned when they saw them. Ignoring them, the group used up twenty four berthierites in one go so that they could all enter the second level of the crystal mine!
