The Silent Braveness

Sherly Katto took her best time to talk to Marcella after she's getting a shower. The smooth talk between Mom and daughter now discussing Artemis, who claimed as Ariel.

"Ah, when he said he's courting you in front of your Dad!" Sherly tried to remind Marcella about the fake Ariel. After few seconds of thinking then Marcella responded.

"You mean, Ariel? No, Mom. We don't have any relationship at all. He came with Artemis to keep him last night. So, we chatted and drank few beers, then got drunk. But he's not courting me." Marcella smiled gently to make sure of her mother.

"Are you sure? But I can see that he's falling for you!" Marcella widened her eyes and grinning oddly.

"I think that's too much. Ariel loves making jokes! Yeah, something like that!" Marcella covered him up by saying an unreliable thing. Sherly just nodded with a slight smile to her daughter.

"I have no problem with him as long as you know him better first." Marcella was dumbfounded now. She thought that her Mom must take it so wrong with her relationship with the fake Ariel.

"I'm not …."

"Whose son, is he?" asked Sherly, cut Marcella's words. Marcella stunned for a moment as the words choked on her throat. When she wanted to utter it, a voice came out suddenly from the door gap.

"Are you gossiping without me?" Miraya interrupted the talk with her grinning innocent look. Marcella turned her head to the door and waved her hand.

"Come on in!" even without the sign, Miraya would still come into Marcella's bedroom. She sat on the same couch, spoiled, laying her head to Sherly's shoulder back. Sherly then chuckled at her reaction.

"Why are you such a baby recently?" Miraya sulked to her Mom while hugging her.

"Why?"

"You're just like a koala baby obsessed with its mommy!" Miraya and Marcella laughed instantly at their Mom's silly joke. 

"I want to be your koala baby forever," muttered Miraya silently. Sherly smiled, vaguely hearing Miraya's words. Moreover, she also stretched her hand to Marcella to embrace.

"Why do I feel that your both are so touchy now?" asked Sherly made Miraya lifted her head to see her Mom's.

"Are you trying to say something to me, Darling? You know that I'll listen to you anytime, don't you?" she asked for more while staring at Miraya's facial expression. She didn't answer it directly to their Mom, and it somehow made Marcella a bit worry.

"She just nervous about this whole situation, Mom," Marcella said, some neutral reason to ease their Mom. Miraya smiled lightly at Marcella, who always backed her up almost at every time. There were countless times that Marcella always saved her foolishness. She didn't even think about that once. What could Miraya do to pay all of her debt to her twin sister?

"I hope you are not going to be nervous about that thing. Because I believe now that your father already initiates the plan to engage you and Artemis," said Sherly, finally told her reason for taking with Miraya.

"What?" Miraya was shocked and barely uttered her voice.

"Yeah, therefore, I need to talk to you after I get with Marcella. Since you are here, so I can talk to you both." Both Miraya and Marcella now stared at each other speechless. They didn't talk or dramatically rejected it like before.

"I want you to be ready. Maybe tonight, your Dad would talk about that." Miraya still at her same spot, staring at her, stunned. 

"Okay, you both should have some rest now! I love you!" Sherly kissed both cheeks of her twin's daughter before she left. Miraya lost her smile after hearing about the engagement plan. In contrast, Marcella could not say anything about her condition now.

On the quietness, Miraya took Marcella's hand and smiled at her.

"This is all my fault that I involve you with this situation. I should've not come out with that idea of switching places. Maybe this won't happen," Miraya gently said, trying to reassure Marcella.

"It's not your fault, Baby. I'm the one who agrees to it!" replied Marcella with her gentle adorable expression. Those eyes glistening and stared at Miraya innocently. They made Miraya felt so guilty to herself so profoundly. She knew she was supposed to blame this time.

"I'm sorry when I said about Ariel, Cella. I shouldn't say lies for more. But I can't help myself," Miraya muttered her regret to lie on Artemis's real identity. Marcella bowed her sight without replying to it.

"Then how are we going to get through this? Daddy will find out soon that he's not Artemis?" Marcella asked Miraya, half-whispered while Miraya sat there hopelessly and mindless. She could not think of any idea at all. 

"I think I face it. After all, I am very disappointing many times. I don't know, Baby. I don't want to lie anymore." Miraya admitted with her gloomy face and hardly sighed few times.

"Do you want to confess?" Miraya was stunned by that question. Could she confess? Would it make her father, Mandala Katto, cursed her more? What if he found out that she conspired to trick him in the first place?

Miraya hardly thought of insistently questions that appeared once in her head. After all, she was just a fragile girl who could fall on her own feet regardless of her rugged look. She was crying eventually to such immense pressure. Miraya then covered her face with both of her palms shedding tears. 

On another side, Marcella could not let her twin sister face the complicated problem by herself. She'd instead having all the pain than seeing her sobbing in crying. Marcella took Miraya to her embrace to calm her.

"I'll be here for you. I promise we will face this together. I will never leave you alone," Marcella hummed gently with a hand caressing Miraya's hair on her chest. Miraya did not say anything to her sister, and she was sobbing in regret for being useless.

BRAJAMOHAN'S MANSION

Ariel could not believe that Artemis act so low this time. Instead of confessing every lie he made in just two days. Now he decided to make another lie by tricking his father. So Ariel furiously walked out of the luxury mansion while Artemis was chasing after him.

"Wait … Ariel, where are you going?" Artemis exclaimed at Ariel once they were in the lobby.

"I will never listen to you anymore!" he shouted.
