After the engagement night, Ajax went home and drank in his office alone. He did not say anything to his wife Lavender as she came home together with him and went straight to her bedroom.
With a flat expression, Lavender took off her heels and unzipped her gown. She went inside her walking closet to finish taking off her beautiful dress. Her eyes were bawling with tears when she looked at the giant mirror in front of her.
As if she's gasping for air, Lavender was breathless. She ducked down and cried, holding herself silently on the floor. Ajax has hurt her so badly for all these years. Flooding her around with lies and hatred in his eyes.
If it's not because of Artemis, she might have left since long time ago. The squeak of crying could hear in her bedroom but not loud in the hallway. Besides, Ajax must not be in his room so that he won't hear anything.
