A Day Free Of Stress

While waiting at the usual place we agreed to meet, I was pretty glad that I'm the first to arrive. Though he's always late to arrive. I always like to see Cain coming up to me wearing a warm smile, just like a gentle breeze that can make anyone feel better.

"Lynn!" He rushed to my side as soon as he saw me. 

"Cain, you're finally here!"

"Sorry, did I make you wait long?"

"A little, but it's fine..." and so we finally get to start another day together.

I bet it's going to be fun as usual. Cain always show me places that I've never been to in this district, then he'd treat me with delicious snacks and talk like there's no tomorrow. Recalling back when I first met him, he was really talkative and boring.

Although these days, I don't know why I was able to bear listening to every word he says until the very end. It was hella boring, and I'm not sure if I was really interested in his stories but I still listen anyway.

Maybe I got used to it?

I'm not so sure about, though all that actually mattered to me is that I get to hang out with him. He's a great friend after all.

"Oh! I almost forgot there's this good movie at the cinema I wanted to show you. Do you want to go watch before we head to other places?" He suddenly suggested.

"Sure! That sounds nice." A movie huh?

This kinda feels like a date... BUT WE'RE NOT A COUPLE!!

W-We're just f-friends that wants to see a movie. Nothing's wrong or unusual about that, right?

"Err... I'd like to see the movie but the snacks they sell there sucks."

"It's fine to watch the movie without snacks—" he frowned and shook his head.

"No. There must be snacks. Snacks makes the movies better. Imagine, if we already got inside the theater and the beginning of the movie is still boring then won't the snacks make up for that? Snacks is a must when it comes the movies!" Geez, do he really have to say all that?

"I guess that makes sense. Though their snacks are the only food allowed there and bringing your own snacks is prohibited, what are we going to do?" Since there were incidents that some people bring snacks with drugs, the cinema won't allow people to bring their own snacks anymore.

Cain smirked as if he just thought of something brilliant. "We smuggle then."

"What?! But that's—" he pressed his index finger against my lips just to hush me, then he followed up a wink that supports his mischievous idea.

"That's how bad boys are." Gosh darn it! I almost forgot that he's a delinquent himself, so guys like him are really confident in doing bad stuff. But why did he have to be so charming all of a sudden?! Geez!

"Tsk, fine. I'm in."

"Cool, let's hit the store now!"

As we got inside at the nearest store, I picked the stuff I wanted to eat. And when I reached for my favorite potato chips, someone else also got a hold of it. "Eh?!" I can't let them have this! This is the last one on the shelf!!

"Hey! Get your hands off my—"

"This is mi—"

We were both cut off as we tried to glared at one another, but we were both surprised when we saw each other. No... I'm the one who's way more surprised here. WHAT IS HE DOING HERE!?

"Are you..." he even leaned closer to get a better look at me. I panicked from this close distance and pushed his face away.

"P-Pervert!! Get off me!!" I yelled, hoping Cain would come here and get me away. I was also blocking his eyes so he won't be able to recognize me, but then another one came up. "Boss? What's the matter here?"

WHAT THE HELL ARE THEY DOING HERE!?

Ren brushed my hand off his face and judging from his face, anyone can tell he got pissed. Oh shit! "I'll leave you alone... if you hand me this potato chips." To hell with his priority, fine he can have it!!

"F-Fine! Take it and leave me alone!" I was going to run off until Keto managed to stop me by holding my shoulder. "Wait a minute, why the hell were you calling my boss... a... pervert..." Keto began to stutter when he got to see me.

I-Is he going to realize?!

"Lyde?—"

"Oi." When I thought things will only get worse, Cain finally showed up! But where did he got those facemask and sunglasses? Not that it matters right now, I can finally get away!

"Let go of her." He told them. Keto instantly got his hands off of me and so I had to hide behind Cain while he confronts them. "What do you assholes think you're doing to my girlfriend?!" Eh?... EEEEEEHHHH!?
