Five years ago….

“You will make a gorgeous bride! Pity you are marrying a poser!” Jane said as she helped Ivy adjust the train on her wedding gown.

Ivy frowned. She didn’t understand why Jane was against Gabriel. He had shown that he had nothing but love and respect for Ivy.

“You two need to get along for crying out loud! You are my best friend, and he is going to be my husband. I can’t have the two of you constantly bickering!” Ivy answered as she tried to suck in her stomach.

Why had she decided to go with the concept of ‘the dress should fit me not the other way round?’ With the nerves piling up as her wedding date approached, Ivy had binge ate anything and everything she should have stayed away from.

Jane giggled, “Are you sure you are not just going along with this marriage because you are pregnant, and you don’t want us to know?”

Ivy’s eyes flew open. “If eating lots of burritos makes one pregnant, then I surely am carrying your burrito God-daughter or son!”
