Chapter 29 First Lesson of Being a Secretary

Suddenly, a stream of ice-cold water fell onto her.

Before Shirley could react, she had been drenched from head to toe.

Her body stiffened. She remained calm, managing to withstand the spray of water.

Albert only managed to dodge it by alertly retreating into the elevator.

As soon as Albert was about to continue, a proud, feminine voice rang,

"Oh dear, what happened? Did something go wrong with the smoke detector? Who was so careless as to forget someone important was about to arrive at our president's secretary office?"

As soon as the speaker stopped, Shirley took off her soaked spectacles.

"Linda." Albert stepped out of the elevator. "The security are too careless! You'll have to check if someone did this on purpose!"
