"If there is something you want to tell me, let me know, Caesar," she said.

Caesar grumbled. "You wouldn't want to know. I would scare you."

"Scare me?" Adeline arched a comical brow, shaking her head in amusement. "I'm not sure what it is that you think could possibly scare me, but, Caesar, I'm tough, you know. You said it yourself, so don't assume, I'd' be afraid that easily."
