Chapter 20 Skin Damage

Fearfully touching her face, Liu Su turned to face Liu Yun before slowly following Fan Xi into the restroom.

Jiang Hong saw this and thought Fan Xi was fortunate to have allowed the Zhang and Liu families remarriage. She then discussed the importance of skincare. A dream only a fool would entertain!

She approached Liu Yun and whispered, "Don't trust Fan Xi too much. She was lucky last night. Today, she still doesn't let Liu Su be herself, right? She says the cosmetics harm the skin—wasn't she trying to hurt Liu Su?"

In response to Jiang Hong's words, Liu Yun looked up at her with seriousness and cast a worried glance toward the bathroom.

Fan Xi explained patiently.

"You are more familiar with your birthmark than I am. Is the color redder now than it was before? This demonstrates that leaving your makeup on from the day before irritates your skin and makes it red. This is another reason I request that you wash your face."

Fan Xi made a diagnosis, and Liu Su listened attentively as she pointed to her face. Her forehead wrinkled in an instant. Her eyes went from being wide with joy to being filled with fear. "Fan Xi, can you please assist me once more?"

She pleaded with her eyes and acted coquettishly toward Fan Xi.

The goal for Fan Xi was to make money for Liu Su's wedding. She gave a small smile. "Am I not here to help you? You must follow my instructions when you return today."

The aloe vera gel was in the sink. Fan Xi took a spoonful with a unique spoon and put it on Liu Su's face. She said that aloe vera gel could help with pain. "This will help calm your skin because it is red right now."

"I hear you!" Liu Su shook her head like a kid. She was different from the person before, who was always against Fan Xi.

One of the two people outside stopped smiling, and the other's worried expression faded as they listened to the conversation and began to reflect.

Naturally, Jiang Hong was the reluctant party. Since yesterday, when Fan Xi first began applying makeup to Liu Su, she had been at a loss. She had yet to learn where Fan Xi had picked up the ability to help Liu Su out of jam twice in a row.
