Derrick's expression became hideous. He roared at Waverley, "What did you do to make Mr. Miller upset?!"

Waverley was startled. Derrick had always spoiled her. She'd never seen him like this, at least not towards her.

"I..." Waverley's tears streamed down her face. "Last night, Wrenna..."

Derrick frowned. "What does this have to do with Wrenna?"

"Wrenna stayed out all night, and I just smelled Charles' cologne on her..."

Needless to say, Derrick understood what was going on.

Derrick slammed a hand on the table furiously. "Wrenna Lawson, how can you be so unscrupulous?!"

Wrenna answered calmly, "You shouldn't only listen to one side of the story. I'm going to debut soon. Wouldn't I be ruining my own career if words were to get out that I'd slept with my future brother-in-law?"

"Oh, wait. I shouldn't be addressing him as my brother-in-law anymore. I meant, Mr. Miller." Wrenna smiled faintly.
