Haven't you ever wondered what happens to people when they die? Most describe it as some sort of eternal slumber...
When someone or something dies, its physical body may wither away; however, the spirit remains and lives on for eternity.
Depending on the choices of the being during their lifetime, there are Gods that decide whether their actions are deemed punishable, forgiveable or rewardible.
If deemed punishable, the spirit will be sent to hell and suffer the consequence of their unjust actions.
If deemed forgiveable, the spirit is left to roam their native realm, but as a wisp - unable to interact with the living in any way or form. They are also allowed to visit heaven.
If deemed rewardible, the spirit is given a new home in heaven amongst the Gods and angels themselves.
This may be how the sonario goes usually, but there are exceptions…
If you have been destined to an unfortunate ending, then not all hope is lost - for fate sees fit that you live a better life.
Fate can alter the book of the living, allowing a spirit to live a new life, although there may be a few limits.
An example of this is Fate's Dream Catcher System. This starts with an unexpected death or a death of bad luck. A unique and unlucky spirit is chosen and is gifted an Eternal Bond of Fate, which is essentially their life thread.
A fraction of their life force is interwoven with an Asubakacin* and they are given a task to protect people's dreams.
In return for getting rid of bad dreams, fate allows the once mere spirit, now Dream Catcher to return to the living world for a specific amount of time.
Fate is always fair to those who are deserving of redemption…
Do you believe in fate? (´・ω・`)?
