The busy street turned quiet by the scene on the side road, soon, the chattering of the crowd sounded as Katherine got up.
She walked towards Killian and Selena, she wanted to check on Killian but when the man looked at her with his cold eyes, her body frost.
Katherine gulped hard, cold sweat formed on her forehead as she stared at Killian's eyes.
Anger, that's what Katherine sees in Killian's eyes, he was walking towards her with a cold face.
Face so cold like winter, hands each side clenching into fists, Katherine took a step back while Killian continued moving closer.
Katherine felts slight pain when her back hit the side of a car parked on the side street, her lips quivered with fear, seeing his reaction, the anguish dimming his eyes, his jaw gnashing with anger, Katherine had seen this face one before and it's making her body tremble.
"Killian I didn't mean it," she said, voice shaking with fear.
"You killed my kid and now you want to hurt her? Why Katherine? Haven't you had enough torturing me?" Killian said in an almost whisper, nose wrinkling with anger, hands were itching to strangle her until the last air in her body disappears.
Katherine's trembling hand touched the car, it searched for something to hold on but there was nothing to support her shivering body, with her legs weakening uncontrollably, her body slumped to the ground.
"I am sorry Killian," she said crying, tears flowed from each side of her eyes mixing the sweat on her face, "I regretted it, please," she begged, looking up to Killian standing in front of her like a God.
Killian shook his head, he bent to level his face to Katherine with eyes that could kill anyone's soul.
"I will never forgive you, Katherine. Be thankful that the pen didn't hit Selena or you would have been dead by now."
Killian turned his back on Katherine, he walked towards Selena with the pen still stuck on his arm.
"Let's go," Killian said, sitting on the motorcycle and staring it with a flat face, the anger in his eyes had disappeared.
Selena worriedly shook her head, a bit stunned with that had just happened, the pen in his arm didn't let any blood from bursting out.
She gulped hard, trembling hand lifted to touch his injured arm.
"We need to go to the hospital," Selena said.
Killian smiled at her, locking her trembling hands with his palm, "I am alright Selena, I will handle it in my apartment ."
His hand transferred on the handle, he twisted the key and waited for Selena to climbed in.
"Let me drive," Selena said. Worried that they might have an accident with his condition.
Surprised, Killian looked at her with amusement in his eyes, "You know how to drive?"
Selena shrugged, "I learned it when I was thirteen, don't worry, you're in good hands," she gave a wary smile.
Killian slides backward, giving enough space for Selena.
When Selena seated in front of Killian, she felt a hand wrapping around her waist. She sighed, a warm air grazed on her shoulder as Killian lay his chin on it.
Despite the loud sound coming from the engine of the motorcycle, Selena heard Killian's voice whispered the words, "you are so cute," into her ears.

After stopping on the side road of the street Killian mentioned, Selena turned the engine off and helped Killian. He almost fell asleep on her shoulder but she kept him awake by shaking it.
Unsure where to touch him, Selena looked at Killian with confusion, "Ahm – where can I hold you?"
Killian rose an eyebrow, he curved his lips to smile and snaked his uninjured arm over her shoulder, "just hold on to my waist, it should be fine," he whispered.
Selena nodded, she walked with the same pace as Killian, entering the door of the building.
It automatically opened and they both moved towards the elevator.
When the elevator door opened, they entered and Killian asked her to push the floor button, 7th floor.
Selena's face whitened to see the skin surrounding the pen stuck in his arm has turned purple, she gulped hard, wondering if it's infected.
"I think we should go to the hospital, it looks serious," Selena said.
"Hush," Killian – with his eyes closed, hushed her.
"I will be fine," he continued.
The door opened and with a heavy arm on Selena's shoulder, she walked out, still supporting him.
"What's the passcode?" Selena asked as they stopped in front of the closed door with a name carved on the door 'Killian Dane'.
"Your birthday."
"Stop fooling around and tell me what the code is?"
Killian went quiet, staring at Selena with a dull expression.
Selena blew out her cheeks, even though she didn't believe him, she still pressed her birthday.

The sound made Selena raised an eyebrow, she didn't bother to look at Killian as she knows that he must be grinning at her right now.
When they entered Killian's apartment, Selena parted her lips in surprise.
The room is almost empty, aside from the bed, the closet and the television, the room has nothing.
"Are we in the right room?" she asked.
"Yeah," Killian replied, he withdrew his arm from her shoulder and went to the bathroom.
When he came out, Selena was sitting on the bed, head roaming around the empty room.
Through the light coming from the window, Killian could see the exhaustion on her face, dried sweat-stained on the collar of her white dress while mascara smudged under her eyes.
Killian blinked, he had never brought a girl in his apartment until now, and usually, he doesn't like women with messy makeup but right now, his hands – despite the pain in his arm, were itching to remove her makeup and see her natural beauty, the face he can only stare every time he sneaks in her room at night.
He sighed, wondering what's happening to him, he only wanted her to be his woman, but last night, he stole something so precious hoping that the tale about the jade ring would shed some light on Selena's feelings towards him. He had never wished for any woman's attention but he wanted Selena to only look at him and no one else.
The ring that almost cost his life, he took it without making a plan, he acted like a starving stupid deer entering a lion's den for some grass.
He took the ring because of the stories he heard when he was a kid, and thinking what he had been through to get it, Killian plastered a bitter smile.
His eyes looked at Selena's hand, the ring wasn't there.
"I can call Daniella to maybe sanitize the wound," Selena got up and walked closer to Killian.
She seized his uninjured arm and hauled him towards the bed.
They seated next to each other on the bed, Selena gulped, afraid that it might get worse if she handles it herself.
"It's fine, I will pull it and then you can stop the blood," Killian said calmly, there was no pain in his face.
"Ok," taking a deep breath, Selena nodded.
"We should probably do this in the bathroom or the blood will stain on the bed," Selena stated.
Killian didn't complain, he got up just as fast as he sat down and went to the bathroom with Selena tailing him
