Lilianne was in a constant feeling of unrest. She had took her frustration out to the maids, and it still wasn't enough. Back in the Disfiegro household, she would raise her hand to those who disobeyed her, and none of them complained. That is given, because she is the child of a marquis. They do not hold any right to complain. Besides, they belonged on a lower standing. There was no room for complaints when they are getting paid to work.

She gritted her teeth. The maids here have a lot of nerves—of course Lilianne knew they were whispering about her. She figured she ought to give them a little gift once she ascends to the throne. On her way to the garden with her already foul mood, she sees her—that leech who had followed the king like a dog. She was clearly blind, so Lilianne wondered how she, an inadept person, could even become the high priestess.
