"During the day, Luminescence appears as any ordinary lake, with crystal clear waters that shimmer in the sunlight. However, as the sun sets and darkness engulfs the forest, the lake transforms into a magnificent display of magic and wonder," he continued.

"The water of Luminescence begins to glow, emitting a soft blue light that illuminates the surrounding area. The light is so bright that it reflects off the trees and plants, creating a mystical ambiance that enchants anyone who beholds it," Auric said, feeling excited.

"As the night progresses, the glow becomes more intense, and the lake starts to emit different colors, ranging from purple to green, and even red. It's a spectacle that draws people from far and wide to witness the enchanting display," he added, feeling inspired.

"Many believe that the magical aura of the lake is due to the presence of ancient magic crystals that lie deep within the lake's bed. Others speculate that it's the result of a powerful enchantment cast by a group of skilled sorcerers who lived in the area long ago," he concluded.

"In the novel, it was stated as one of the most popular tourist and picnic places, and the main characters went there sometimes in the filler chapters," he remembered.

"Hmm, that lake would be a good decoy," he thought, feeling confident about his plan.

Thinking about all of this, Auric fell asleep.

The next day, Auric woke up to a guard, a water mage who had the duty to provide water for him to clean his face every morning.

"Good morning, young master. Did you have a good sleep?" the guard asked as he offered a bowl of water to wash his face.

"Ah, yes, I did," Auric replied, feeling refreshed.

Hearing him, the guard was astonished. Even if Auric did not behave badly, there was always a sad vibe around him. But today, it seemed like the vibe had completely vanished, and Auric's face did not seem sick as it did before.

Is his sickness gone now? The Young Master seems healthy today, the guard thought.

After finishing his breakfast, Auric called a knight.

"Good morning, Young Master. Did you call for me?"

"Ah, yes, Sir Thomas. Good morning. The next town is Lacasn, right?"

"Yes, Young Master."

"Hmm, when do you think we will reach it?"

"I think we will reach it by this evening at a normal speed or in the afternoon if we go at full speed."

In the inn, Auric was resting in his room and waiting for dinner. He would execute his plan after dinner.

He talked with the system and came to a conclusion that maybe the three enemies following him were people sent by Avalon. They had been following him since he left the estate.

There was no way a powerful man like Avalon would not notice them, and it was by no means possible that he was followed by people more powerful than Avalon. They had more important work than to trail a little kid like me. and they also had many chances to kill me. The silver fish that swam in the lake were like jewels, their scales reflecting the blue light of the water. They moved gracefully, weaving in and out of the rocks and plants beneath the surface.

The enchantment of the lake seeped into Auric's bones, filling him with a sense of wonder and awe. He had never seen anything like it before. It was as if the lake was a living, breathing thing, and he was just a small part of its grand design.

As he gazed out across the water, he noticed the unique trees surrounding the lake. Their leaves were a deep, rich green, shimmering in the light of the lake.

Auric realized that the magic of Luminescence extended beyond the water. The entire area was alive with mystical energy that tingled in his fingertips. It was as if the entire forest was enchanted, and he was a part of it.

As Auric explored the area around Luminescence, he noticed hills and caves surrounding the lake. The hills rose up on either side of the water, covered in lush green foliage and towering trees that swayed gently in the wind.

I think the cave is over there, Auric thought.

As Auric approached the hills, a golden dot appeared on the system map, indicating his proximity to the cave.

"I am near," Auric whispered to himself.

The guards followed Auric without questioning his motives, assuming he was merely a curious child exploring the area.

Auric was too focused on his quest to pay attention to the guards. He made his way up one of the hills and saw several caves carved into the rock face. They were dark and foreboding, but Auric knew that one of them held the fruit he was searching for.
