Due to human’s greed and destruction, what awaits us is an abysmal reality. As the world is nearing its doom, chaos becomes the norm. Humans near extinction have one thing going for them, the evolution of the remaining species. They have supernatural power to overcome the adversity that they face. Amaris is descended from a family of dream seers, barely able to see the future unlike her ancestors. She is someone who is easily forgettable, a passerby who doesn’t have a place in the world. After her awakening she does everything to overcome her weakness and pave her way with the help of her space and system, join her as she embarks on her new reality. Tatsuo has always been a soldier. At the end of times he is one of the lucky ones to awaken three powers: lighting, ice and a growth skill. As one of the youngest commanders in history, he has great leadership skills and is someone to admire. In normal times he would have nothing to do with females; as he spends all his time in training and shying away from the opposite sex. That is until faith placed Amaris in his path, he appeared to be stern and cold, sometimes even unfeeling. Faith has introduced them together as they struggle to survive and find love in what appears to be a loveless and cruel world where survival calls for the fittest. After she finished speaking, we went to our perspective sections. The room had what looked like cubicle walls forming a a straight line horizontally and separating the room in half. Males were on the left, females to the right. As I was wearing my black equipment from space, I was one of first to complete my duck walk. Thanks to leveling up in space, it seemed extremely easy. I was then led to another room for a urine sample as well as to get blood drawn. this room used the original chairs from the lecture hall, but all desks were moved out. The ones who were taking our blood were the recent graduates, but who've had hospital training.

This room was originally large enough for 40 students but was broken down into 8 medium cubicles with chairs. We basically lines up at the door and were directed at an available cubicle to get labs done. The public bathroom was on the other side and someone remained within the bathroom to collect the urine samples on a cart. Each was labeled as they were handed in. After labs we were directed to the end of the hallway which was the smaller classrooms. These classrooms could only fit 16 students. All the desks and chairs were taken out, replaced with a trolly bed (stretcher). A soldier in their camouflage uniform with an insignia reading sergeant sat at a makeshift computer. I was the only one in the room beside her.

"Have a seat. I'll just ask some rudimentary questions and check your health in order to clear you for the start of training. Tomorrow you will be starting with training. Because we are in a rush we will only pull you from training if your medical records have any issues". She said. "Any questions?"

Her name tape read Gomes. "No" I responded. I was asked to take of my clothes, aside from my underwear while she asked me questions and checked my body to make sure there wasn't anything that could pose as a potential problem. As she was examining me she was asking me questions about my health, which thanks to the system, was perfect. My body has been getting toned, and I was even starting to show abs. When she was done with my physical exam, as well as wellness questionnaire, I was released to go to the faculty conference room for our injections. This room was on the upper floor of the science building and large enough to fit 100 people. Like many of the other room that have been seized, this too had much of the furniture removed.

There were a few stations where soldiers had a standing table with medicine. We were told to form a single line in the middle where the tables were on both side of us. Those of us who had long sleep shirts/ sweaters or anything covering our arm had to remove them so our arms were exposed. There were 30 of us who walked in a single file line towards the 5 stations on each side of us. As we walked we would be given a shot in both our arms at the same time. We were told to wait for 15 minutes after, before we were released to go to the gymnasium for our gear.

The gymnasium, like the classroom had different stations on the floor. Here we were issued 5 fitness training uniform, all black with yellow highlights. These were all shorts with short sleeves. We were given 2 duffel bags, as well as a rucksack. We were given a camouflage style camelback for water and 5 sets of camouflage uniform, as well as formal attire. We were also given 2 pairs of combat boots and 1 pair of tennis shoes. Although the university was not prepared as well as a military base, they told us that because it was large enough for physical training, it will suffice. Because the school is close to the woods, we will be taken to it for field training exercises our third week.

After receiving our gear, we were briefed on the next few days. Since we have less than a month when it's projecting for "all hell to break loose" as the other civilians are calling it, training will be extremely tight. After today over half of the military personnel will be relocated, so only half will be staying on for training. Due to this, the 30 of us who selected basic training crash course will mostly be lead be commander Tatsuo Shikari, one of the youngest commanders in history. He is also the commander and will be taking over as the major for the entire region. The school have been split into three parts, for three different types of training. Extremely training, aka- boot camp, regular physical training for those not eligible/selected for boot camp and lastly for handicapped physical training. The latter category is for those who have health problems and will be unable to push themselves, such as those with severe asthma, injured or degenerative diseases and etc. this also includes civilians who are pregnant. They are then breaking down depending on what they are able to do.

After being briefed and relocated, I was one of the lucky ones to find myself in my original building. This is an apartment style where all of us conducting basic training will reside. This is also one of the newer and better buildings. It happens to be a five minute walk from the soccer (football) field, which is where we will be meeting for formation at 0500 in the morning every day, excluding Sundays. We were told to be dressed in our issued uniform and given the remainder of the day to get ready. Some of the civilians who are not able to join physically training but are good with cooking have been selected for kitchen duty as well as a few soldiers to oversee that they are following proper military procedures when handling food.
