Chapter 3 The effect of the skill [Edited]

John clicked "yes" and waited for the skill to activate, but nothing happened.

"Well that was disappointing" Feeling disastified, John decided to ventured deeper into the forest, searching for plants and fruits to test if it's already working.

As he scanned the Forest, with he's eyes fell upon a clump of grass that towered above the rest, clearly distinct from its surroundings.

"Identify" John said in his mind

He utilized his skill, and within moments, a vivid blue hologram manifested before his very own eyes, showcasing the plant's unique characteristics and identifying it with precision

[Lily of the Valley]

DESCRIPTION:

Its leaves are similar to grass blades, but it produces bell-shaped white flowers in the spring. All parts of this plant, including the berries, contain cardiac glycosides, which can cause symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, and irregular heartbeat when ingested.

"Ahh" John backed away a little knowing it's actually a contaminated with poison. Wow that skill saved me this time.

After looking at the sun, knowing that it's about 1 in the afternoon. John gathered some materials like branches, logs, sticks, leaves, and also fruits like blue berry.

He carried this back and forth and finally it's 5:00 now.

"It's time to build a small shelter"

John gathered the the materials, that he bought and looked around for a good spot to build the shelter.

He found a spot near a tree that had branches hanging low. John picked up some long sticks and leaned them against the tree to form a rough frame for the shelter. He added more sticks to make the frame sturdier.

Next, he gathered some branches and laid them across the frame, creating a roof. John made sure to overlap them slightly to prevent rain from seeping through. He used smaller branches to weave through the larger ones to fill in any gaps.

Finally, John gathered leaves from the ground and placed them on top of the branches to provide extra protection from the elements.

He also piled up some leaves on the floor inside the shelter to make it more comfortable to sleep on.

With his shelter finally complete, he felt a sense of relief. John could now rest easy knowing that he had a place to be protected from the rain and sun and don't forget about the cold.

"Now it's time to make a fire"

To start a fire, John first gathered some dry leaves and small twigs and arranged them in a small pile.

Then, he took two sticks and rubbed them together vigorously to create friction. After a few minutes, he saw a tiny ember begin to form on the pile of leaves.

"thanks to my skill, fire mastery lighting a fire is a piece of cake"

John continued to blow on the ember to help it grow, and gradually added more small sticks and twigs to the fire.

As the flames grew, he added larger branches to the fire to keep it burning. Finally, John had a warm, crackling fire to keep him company throughout the night.

Fire can also help keep away predators and insects that may be attracted to his shelter or his very own food.

After that john slept for the night, even though he heard some rusting sound and, some wolves barking outside he only remained vigilant but no one get closed to his shelter, thanks to his fire.
