Chapter 17 Finally About Time

Bianca and Christine joined Anna and sat beside her.

"Feeling better now, John?" Christine then asked John.

"I'm good. Give me 4 days and I'll be fine." John replied.

"Wow, isn't your recovery a little strong? Are you some kind of monster?" Christine asked while casually putting the meat in her mouth, not caring about her image.

"Are you also on that guy's side?" Bianca asked suspiciously, but decided to stop thinking about it and continued eating her food.

Anna keep feeding John with care and grace using both of her hand, and John felt even more embarrassed for the first time in his life.

However, he still continued eating the food and even drank the water with Anna's help. After a few moments, they finished their breakfast.

"John, can I ask you something?" Christine inquired, feeling curious.

"Sure, ask me what you want to know," John replied while nodding his head.

"where have you been living on this island" Christine asked a question. "If it's okay with you"

"Sure there's no problem about that"

"When the tsunami hit my ship, I was swept to the other side of the island. Just a little far away from this, I was living at that time.." while John, keep telling his story of what kind of life he is living.

Bianca could not help but listen carefully to John. When they heard that John already build a shelter with over 300 square meter and had a small hut to be his house this made them admired John.

Bianca thought inwardly. "what a show off" But she, still continued to listen to John story attentively.

When John, told them about exploring the forest, and found a swamp and ventured through inside. And that he was chased by some crocodiles and the little snake that he bullied back then.

They could, not help but admired John even more. Even Bianca think of it as well.

Think of it, being chased by a lot of crocodile, bullying a big snake but still calling it a little snake. Building a shelter and the food is always meat, isn't John life a little easy, in this island.

John continued his story about when he finally got out of the swamps and how he choked two times from the meat he ate.

Christine and Anna, could not help but laugh to John story, Bianca could not also help but chuckle a little.

"When I was about, to ventured again. The snake that I bullied earlier appeared, but this time he called something big it's the anaconda. I was beaten one sided and I was even played by that animal without putting up fight luckily I still survive". Finally john finished his story.

Christine and Anna could not help but pity to John current condition, even Bianca seems to believe him a little.

"Last question," Christine spoke, "From the words you said, 'my ship is the big ship,' yours?" she asked, while raising her eyebrows.

John looked at her, and told her everything without lying. It's, not like he hated being high profile. That's only because of the Steele family rules.

"Yep, it's my family's ship. I just used it to celebrate my school graduation. So, I asked my butler to send invitations to all of the students who were graduating. But, I did not expect this to happen."

"Sorry about that, I didn't mean for this to happen," John said apologetically, knowing that he was partly responsible for their current situation.

"It's not your fault, John," Anna comforted him. "You just wanted to give all the students a chance to experience life on a huge and expensive ship. We should be grateful for your kindness." Bianca and Christine nodded their heads in agreement.

John felt comforted by Anna's words, as he thought about what she said.

Bianca and Christine finally realized that John was the person their father had told her to befriend in order to gain connections.

They had initially, look everywhere, in the ship. But finding John in that ship is so hard.

"Isn't he's so much of a low-profile" Bianca and Christine thought in their mind.

"John, what do you plan to do once you've recovered?" Anna asked.

"I think I should go back to my place. I've already been gone for a few days," John replied. Which cause Anna, to be sad a little.

"I must warn you guys to be careful when you go out into the forest. This island is not as normal as you think," John said, his tone is serious, not carrying any joke.

At first, Bianca didn't believe John, but as she listened to his story and saw how serious he was, she began to trust John.

Bianca believed John's warning, but she still remained cautious. The three of them nodded their head, listening to John warning.

After two days, while staying in the cave, the can of meat inside the crate finally run out.

During this time, Christine decided to explore the forest in search of fruit or animals to eat.

Bianca was hesitant at first, but Christine reassured her that it would be fine.

Meanwhile, Anna took care of John, cleaning him with her, ripped dress and feeding him despite his protests.

The next day, Christine found a bunch of bananas which they ate for two days. However, their bodies were weakened due to the lack of meat.

Anna had even sacrificed some of her own food so John will not starve, and as a result, she looked more thin.

"Just a little bit more Anna" John spoke to his mind, John tried persuading Anna before. But anna is to stubborn and rejected to eat his portion of the food. Anna even added some of her portion to John saying.

"Don't worry I'm full, and your injured so, you have to eat a lot to recovered" while smiling, when John looked at her smile, he could not have help. But grit his teeth from being so much of a burden to Anna.

Not just Anna, Bianca and Christine as well, they have all lost their energy because they don't have any experience in hunting so they couldn't eat meat.

The next day, early in the morning, John woke up and looked at the time in his system. It was 4 AM.

John was fully recovered; not just his broken bones, ribs, hand and shoulder, but everything was finally recovered.

"About time," he shouted in his mind.

John opened his system saying.
