I opened my eyes and coughed out blood to the side. My whole body ached along with the nausea which sugarcoated my senses. I reached up my shaking hands to hold my head in order to stop it from spinning.
The familiar feeling of the battering of my body reminded me of a past which I had hoped to keep hidden in the back of my memories. Don Claro rocked my limp body back and forth in his arms as he hummed a new tune. My throat felt as if it were shattered. The dull and familiar feeling of pain no longer filled my senses. Instead it became as familiar as learning the piano.
My eyes shone lifelessly as the familiar sight of the automobile roof continued to fill it. My right eye was still swollen and only seemed to continue to swell. A few of my rib bones are shattered causing my breathing to be laborious and hellish. my left eye slid down to see that my whole body was bare except my underwear which covered the areas I wanted to protect.
