Chaotic Third Event (part 2)

I was stuck inside the restroom of second floor along with this fucking bastard...

".... Xin.....did you know that I always hated you?"

I glared at him..

".....haha of course you do...ever since you got selected as the successor of master Chow...."

his face became dark...

"even though I was his direct disciple..."

then he gave me a smirk....

"but....you just gave me a good chance to become a successor... Master Chow knows that you betrayed the Black Odyssey!!"

'.....what!? but....how?? ... whatever!!'

"are you done with your monologue.."

"...what?..."

before he could reply.... I ran past him like there was no tomorrow...

'Fuck!! I can't be late for the third event!!! I just have to see Ran with the Spear and then walk away!!! it's the easiest event!!'

but as I went outside the restroom and turned to the stairs, I found two more guys who dressed up like martial artists, standing on either side of the hallway of second floor...one with his hands behind his back and other with his hands folded...

"Fuck this shit!! [flash!!]"

I used the flash skill and try to pass right through them...

Before system could finish his sentence, the one with his hands folded, grabbed my back coller and threw me back.....

"you're not getting away...Xin, master Chow put a bounty on your head..."

"don't take this personally Xin, this is just the business.."

and soon Chen also came out from the restroom...

"isn't it great!! we were here to kill Ying Xiu ya but also find another one of our target.... guess luck is on our side.."

(Ran's POV)

the auction finally ended, however one thing was strange...no actually there were two things.....

one, the moon splitter Spear was not on display.....but I remember seeing it among the stolen items...

however, the second was more strange, why isn't Xin here yet....wait a minute!! maybe the Ying Xiu ya gave the moon splitter Spear to Xin without...yes that could be the reason...

atleast that's what I thought....but.....

" young master Jiang, this is a small gift from Boss Ying...."

it was the moon splitter Spear, it wasn't removed from display and wasn't given to Xin.....but was a given to me as a gift....

"...uh...oh... I see.."

to think that the Third Event will also be this different from before....

'.....still atleast I have the moon splitter Spear..'

"young master Jiang.... Miss Ying is looking forward to meet you, please follow me.."

"huh...oh..okay..."

' nothing is going as planned...'

(Xin's POV)

"the flash skill isn't working on any of them!!"

Chen using a barrage of punches.

'by now, I have tried the flash skill several times but..... they're still moving!!'

by dodging Chen's punches, I was cornered to the hallway wall.

'....fuck!! nothing is going as planned!!'

Chen once again punches me that I block but the impact was so strong that the wall that was behind me broke to pieces!!!

"ARGH!!"

Chen tries to punch me again but this time I evaded his punch by hair's length and used a counter punch which he didn't even bother blocking...

'....but this guy is a fucking tank!!'

Chen was master Chow's direct disciple and if I compare his strength with reaper is almost on par with him...and...his attacks hurt a lot even if I block them...

" where are you looking Xin!!"

"do we look that easy to you!!"

both of the martial artists attacked me from behind, I dodged one attack but the other caught me off guard....and I got hit on my gut as I fall back and finally Chen again came right at me..

' don't worry!! that bastard Chen!! he don't know martial arts....his only Plus point is his strength!!'

I saw him coming at me with another punch...

' that means if I find a good opening!!'

This time I not only easily dodged it but also kicked on his calf...

"argh!!"

' I can defeat him!!'

after that I was about to kick his face but....one of his underlings grabbed my back... I tried to attack that guy with my elbow but the other one also grabbed my hand...

"you know....you sure are a pain in the ass Xin.."

and finally this bastard Chen punched me on my face and everything went black...

(Ran's POV)

after following the female staff for sometime, I finally entered the office where the forth heroine, Ying Xiu Ya was..

"ah, so you finally came young master Jiang-"

as she stood up to greet me, she stopped mid way and glare right behind me..

" Tianjin..... I thought I asked for only Jiang Ran...then why are these two here?"

I noticed her point towards me.....or maybe behind me, where both Jia Li and Li Lin were standing....soon Jia Li opened her mouth.

"oh.... Miss Ying, what can I say? you know how the public will behave if they learn that my fiance is meeting another women alone, so.... I decided to accompany him."

Jia Li said with a cheerful smile.... then Li Lin also spoke..

"....and I was just accompanying Jia Li, so I thought maybe I should tag along.."

... I don't know if it's just my imagination but I could see sparks in their eyes.....soon Xiu ya looked at me...

".... don't look at me like that..... I have nothing to do with any of this..."

well I actually kind of do.....one is my fiancee and the other is childhood friend of my fiancee...and this third one is my informant.....

before I could say Another word, someone came in...

"MISS YING!! THERE'S TROUBLE!!"

Xiu ya took a deep sigh and said in an angry tone...

".....WHAT? who is it this time?!!!"

" some men wearing all black...."

'wait!! all Black!!! isn't that...'

I remembered how Grey told me the about the Black Odyssey.....and unconsciously shouted...

"WHAT ARE THEY DOING?!!!"

hearing me reacting like that, all three heroines got startled for a second.

"they are holding everyone in this casino hostage..."

'...fuck!! Grey warned me about this!!'

soon, we all left the room and went to the casino hall on the ground floor.

'the Black Odyssey is really here!!'

I thought as I remembered my talking with him yesterday....

(flashback)

"Where were you yesterday??"

I asked Grey as he finally showed up.

"I was attacked, by some people who were wearing all black.....like ninjas!!"

".....same thing happened to me as well... luckily, I was saved by this man.."

after that I introduced him to Tai Long that he was searching for a long time and his reaction was....quite underwhelming..

"oh..... I see.....good... anyways!! remember this!! you and all your friends and loved ones might get attacked by those ninja bastards!! they are from an organisation called Black Odyssey..."

hearing this name, Tai Long's face became a little angry...

after that he explained me a little more about this so called Black Odyssey and how to recognise their members.....

"ah..... anyways, Mr Meng Tai Long, your daughter is alive, the Black Odyssey has brainwashed her and made her their member....."

'wait, so he already knew about Tai Long's daughter.....and the fact that she's still alive...'

even Tai Long was surprised and tried to ask him but..

"wha.....how do you-"

he was cut off as Grey Knight took out a piece of paper and move it forward towards Tai Long.

"here, this herb might help you make a medicine that will bring back her memories, the name, photo and location are here....but it's up to you to find it...."

without wasting any moment... Tai Long immediately took the paper and thanked him.

soon he left with the piece of paper, leaving just the two of us....

"so.... I should probably get going as well.... I was only here to warn you about these guys."

"ah....okay.."

and soon we both left as well..

(flashback ended)

after arriving their, we noticed several black ninjas and some thugs and two guys who looked like martial artists.

soon, one of them looked at our direction and noticed us..

"hey look!! there she is!!!"

soon both of them started moving towards us.....

' fuck!! if only Xin was here!! he would've taken care of this!! I'm a villain not a hero!! if I help them then!!'

<host!! don't worry about breaking the character!! just fight these guys!!>

after hearing that I immediately used my punch on the nearest one...but he caught it..

"..oh....it feels like I got hit by a wom-argh!!"

before he could speak, Xiu ya hit that guy with her knee as she said.

"now that you finally got hit by a women, how does it feel?"

he ignored her comment and looked at her with a grim expression....

"oh.... I'm definitely gonna enjoy killing you!!! you bitch!!"

and soon the whole casino became a battlefield....the casino guards and Xiu ya's bodyguards all started fighting against the ninjas and thugs, while me, Jia Li, Li Lin and Xiu ya were fighting these two martial artists.

but...after some time, all four of us started losing our ground as these two kept attacking us while also defending each other's blind spots....

'fuck!! I can't believe I'm saying this!! but only if Xin was here!! then there might have been a little fighting chance for us!!'

as all of us were fighting, one of the two bastards finally cornered Xiu ya.....

"got you bitch!!!"

soon I noticed that the other martial artist had already injured Jia Li and Li Lin.....and now he was standing right in front of me....

"I heard a lot about you!! you're the trash of Jiang family, aren't you?"

he kept talking about me, but I didn't paid any attention as I was now concerned about Xiu ya who's about to get killed...

after a lot of thinking I decided to straight up charge at them!!

but ...soon the ceiling broke down and two guys were falling to the floor..

looking closely, one of them was punching the other one's face as both of them were falling down and soon, he smashed his head on the floor as they land.

due to that, there was dust flying everywhere.

because of this, Xiu ya was able to catch the other guy off guard and attacked him on his vital spot while also escaping to my side...

soon the dust cleared and we finally saw the face of this unexpected saviour..

"wait.... isn't that..."

but before I could finish, Xiu ya said with a little anger in her voice..

"..... Feng Xin!!!"

he was Feng Xin, but....there was something really wrong about him....there was no longer the cocky Xin from my previous time.....or the calm and collected Xin from this time but.....the Xin, who was smiling.....just like a sociopath!!!

finally, the two guys looked at the person who was lying unconscious.....

"no....way...he defeated Chen!!!"

"....but how?!!"

and soon, Xin started laughing...

"ha...haha.....hahahahaha.... HAHAHAHAHA"

and then he looked at everyone present in the casino hall....

" COME AT ME RIGHT NOW!!!! YOU FUCKING BASTARDS!!!!"
