21-year-old Dorain an unemployed game developer is on his way to an interview when a dwarfish humanoid creature with two very small horns escaping his head appears out of thin air calling himself a 'Dokkaebi' and declares that the free trial of the planet G-47 is over and issues the main scenario #0 'Test of Worth' as he turns Dorains life into a piece of entertainment for the mighty constellations, however, frustrated by his uneventful life, living in a fantasy novel is all that he desired, and although a bit different from what he had in mind, he welcomes this turn of events only to soon realize the horrors of his new life. An uneventful life may not have been so bad after all. Will he survive? or will he perish like the majority? (A Fanfiction Taking place in the universe of the web novel and manhwa Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint. This fanfiction follows a different set of main characters as the clear scenarios however there are many characters who appear regularly from ORV. Warning this may have many differences from the ORV Webnovel. I am not good at grammar so I hope you all will bear with me.)

[Main Scenario #0 'Test of Worth']

"Another interview", My roommate asked.

"how many does this one make? 4 or 5 wait 7? I'm sure you'll get this one."

This was my roommate Nuve. What is his full name you ask? I have a simple answer. I do not know. When I moved here he introduced himself as Nuve and everybody else calls him Nuve too, after 2 months of living together if I ask him what his name is I'm sure I'm going to lose the only friend I have, so yeah he is just Nuve.

"I'm not sure I want this one, I heard about its working conditions about 10 employees quit in the first month" I reply.

"Well it's not like you can choose at this point, I've been through unemployment, and trust me you don't wanna go down that road, speaking off, aren't you going to be late for the interview ?"

"I'm sure there are many people taking the interview. Even if I was on time my turn still wouldn't come for about 3 hours and I'm not a fan of waiting"

"Shut your mouth and hurry up, if you don't get the interview because you're late I'll be the first one to kill you. I'm not paying your rent for the entire year."

With that he grabbed my bag and shoved it in my arms, a paper file fell out of it and landed on the ground, he picked it up and started reading it out loud.

"Introduction" he declared before continuing

"I am currently a student constantly learning new things and aiming to one day reach the skies. My aim is to one day start a game studio to develop games that have the entire world glued to their laptop/PC screens. Ever since I was young, I have always been fascinated by fantasy worlds or stories, however unlike others I always wanted to be a part of the story, the main character, or his best friend, sometimes even a side character or an actor who plays these beloved characters. Being the way I was I always looked up to authors, storytellers, and most importantly game developers. I often spent time at my grandma's listening to all the stories she had to tell, about gods or history or her past experiences it was then that I decided to become a storyteller but I didn't want to just tell stories, I wanted to live the story, which lead me to the profession of a game developer. I aim to create games that feel like you are not controlling a character but experiencing a new world through your own eyes....."

"Dude they don't give you a job after you tell them this?!! I would give you a job after hearing this and I don't even have a game studio."

"I don't tell them that.", I replied and snatched the file out of his hands before shoving it into the bag.

After that, I was pushed out of the apartment before I could say anything else.

"You tell them that and you have the job" with that he slammed the door in my face.

I'm Dorain a 21-year-old game developer fresh out of university and currently, unemployed. I live in a two-bed apartment, yeah two bedded not two bedroom, two bedded, a bedroom containing 2 beds, a kitchen, a small room big enough for two people to sit and operate laptops, and a toilet.

I walked down the flight of stairs and made my way towards the bus station. I checked my attire for any faults and sat on the bench waiting for the bus to arrive. Around 7 people were waiting for the bus 3 school students, a granny, and 3 people with very anxious expressions, I looked around to see people going about their day talking, singing and was again overwhelmed by loneliness.

In the 2 months since my graduation, none of my friends had contacted me not that I had many friends to begin with but I hoped at least the ones I had would stay with me. If I stayed like this the anxiety and melancholy would overwhelm me causing me to fail my interview. I needed a quick escape to control my emotions. I opened my phone and began searching for any updates on the web novels or mangas I was reading and began reading.

-CLANK- -CRASH-CLANK-

My thoughts were interrupted by a loud crash and screams, a car had crashed into the building ahead of me, and already a crowd had surrounded the car. I went close to see what was happening as I made my way through the crowd I could feel the hair on my hands stand, something wasn't right.

I finally reached the site of the crash. The car was a taxi, the driver's body was covered in blood and the hand of the passenger was holding the steering wheel his head hung lifeless, and below his head, the driver's hand could be seen holding a gun. The passenger had been shot and in an attempt to evade the bullet he had probably grabbed the steering wheel causing the crash.

The passenger looked kind of familiar I instinctively reached out and turned the head of the passenger towards me, staring back at me were the lifeless eyes of Nuve. My legs lost all their power as I fell on my knees. Tears started to form in my eyes blurring my vision.

What should I do, what can I do, yes, I should call the police I struggled to dial the number. At this point my sobbing had turned to silent screams, I finally managed to dial the number. The phone was unanswered. This was unheard of. Why weren't the police picking up? I could feel my heartbeat without touching my chest, my jaw became heavy enough threatening to fall off at any moment.

I felt a hand on my shoulder and looked up to see a policeman looking at me with sympathetic eyes.

"Was he someone you knew?" he asked.

I couldn't get myself to answer his question but the look I had must have told him my answer.

"We would like to ask you some questions, it doesn't have to be now, come to the police station once you've calmed down. I know it won't mean much since both the culprit and the victim are dead but we will find out what happened"

With that he turned to the crowd and started pushing them back, he kept asking for reinforcements across the radio but nobody answered. He must have been on a break nearby and seen what happened. He looked like a sincere cop with a determined face and had calm expression, something told me he had seen a lot of murders before.

I looked at my hands now covered in blood, my head was starting to spin. There was a big flash in the sky followed by a -SCREEEAAACHH- and a strange dwarf covered in furr appeared out of thin air.

Was I hallucinating? The death of my only friend right before me had gotten to my head. I grabbed my head with both my arms, my head was fuzzy, my vision was blurry and I was hallucinating.

[#@!&^*$#@]

[#@$!$#$.....]

The creature was saying something a language I didn't understand. A game window appeared before me like an RPG game or an isekai anime, it read.

<Star Stream Channel Ask-#98715>

[The free service of planet G-47 has been terminated]

[The main scenario has scarted]

Before I could take in what was happening a devilish voice entered my ear.

[@^@&%#...is it working now? It took a moment for the translation patch to come through.]

I stared at the creature floating 10 feet in the air about 40 meters from me. It was too strange to call it a fairy, too evil to call it an angel, and too tranquil to call it a demon.

[Greetings habitants of planet G-47. I am dokkaebi Askera...]

Dokkaebi that's what the creature is calling itself, what is a dokkaebi exactly.
