First Kill

After learning this, Theo ordered his skeletons to increase production, so he could sell more packs, he then published his first message in the regional chat.

[Those who need to rebuild their homes can now use any valuable items they have to exchange for house packages. I will accept offers with the highest value or with items I need first, and the value of each item will be decided by me.]

It was the message he left, many of the other players who were left without shelter and units were complaining that this wasn't fair to them. Those in more remote areas would not be harmed, as they could still exchange their resources for stones and buy their packages.

Theo didn't care about those who were calling him a freeloader, she knew that everyone would need shelter now or later when night came. Those without units were complaining that it was too dangerous to go out hunting, or even get resources that were scattered across the ground, as there was a high chance of being attacked.

This made Theo's packages more competitive, now they were being sold in a model similar to an auction, competitors made offers, and he accepted the one he liked most. So he started finding things he had never seen before the attack, like blueprints, some iron, and even some food from his world.

Some of the offers he accepted were for items that were not supposed to be sold in the early stages of the game.

[Planting Field Project]

[Reinforced Rope]

[Energy Stone]

[Instant noodles]

[Coke]

[Basic Leather Armor Blueprint]

These were some of the things that were in the offers he accepted, including wood, stone, food, skins, and even fruit. This gave him a lot of food for Copper who didn't eat meat, from what he could see when eating his breakfast, when Theo offered him a piece, the baby monkey ran away from his hand. But it quickly came back when the meat was replaced with fruit that looked quite juicy.

The items needed to make the armor were leather, which he could only obtain by crafting a tannery, and some thin ropes made on the loom. These two builds would be easy to do now that he could obtain them from the agreements with the other players, which was why he looked for those agreements that had ropes in their offers.

After half a day's work, he had already gathered many resources and was more than happy to create the tannery and the loom. The first was the loom to get his own ropes, since the value of the fiber was inferior to the finished rope, he could get much more in each deal.

Placing the loom in the designated spot within the house, he then saw it take shape, and as he approached to begin work on the fabrication, a strange screen came into his vision. There were two production lists, one with fiber becoming rope and the other with fiber becoming fabric. Clicking on the list with the rope, the ingredients appeared, as well as a slot where the fiber could be placed, and as soon as he placed some there, the loom started to work like magic.

This was something totally unexpected, Theo didn't imagine it would work alone, and he would be free to do other things, like the tannery he would now create. And as soon as he finished, the same thing happened as on the loom, he would only need to add the materials, and the leather would be ready some time later. The materials for the leather were the skins of animals that Theo had in abundance in his inventory.

So with these two things ready, he decided to finish off those animals that his units had hunted for him. As he approached the location, Theo's emotions were a mess, a mix of nervousness, excitement, and curiosity. He wasn't sure if he could kill these animals like that in cold blood, but he would need to, since sooner or later it would have to happen, and he should be prepared.

Seeing those animals that were there to be sacrificed for their growth, he became even more nervous. But that wouldn't stop him from trying, and so he chose his first target, a rabbit that looked cute and innocent. Theo took the sword from Bones who was cutting down trees and wouldn't need it at the moment. He took a deep breath and then attacked, stabbing the sword into the belly of the rabbit that was being lifted and held by one of the skeletons.

The rabbit took a few minutes to die and was in agony, Theo ordered his unit to end its suffering, and the skeleton broke its neck. His next target was a dog whose paws were broken, so it wouldn't run away, this time he aimed for its neck, and as soon as the sword was stuck there, the wolf died.

His stomach was churning inside his body, and the urge to vomit was strong, but he resisted, and instead of continuing, he passed the mission on to Copper. He ordered him to kill another one of the rabbits there, his pet was still too young to kill this rabbit with his current physical strength. Then he gave him a ranger's arrow to act as a weapon, Copper didn't hesitate and stabbed the rabbit more than once until he saw it dead, then turned to Theo for approval and praise.

Patting his head, he congratulated him, despite being a little depressed that he didn't finish his first target alone like Copper did. This continued until night was approaching, Copper leveled up once and gained the throwing ability, which served to give the thrown object momentum, and a greater chance of hitting it.

Theo took a lot of breaks to collect and sell the wooden packages, he also took a few breaks to drink water with Copper who got tired more easily as he was a newborn. After dinner, he and Copper went to sleep, as soon as they finished washing themselves with water from the well.
