Caravan

As soon as he returned to his camp, Theo was welcomed with a party. Everyone was near the bonfire celebrating his victory, and soon after they saw him, they ran to his side and congratulated him. Shortly after returning and celebrating with his subordinates, Theo held a meeting to explain his plans. He wanted to expand his influence and territory to have a greater chance of being the champion of this hellish game.

"I want you to start going further on patrols in the forest, find new tribes, new enemies, and new lords, don't attack the lords, we will use a strategy of always attacking with a wizard or two. Few lords can use magic, and we have to use it to our advantage now, as in time they will discover how to use it." Theo said.

"I will expand our camp and increase the number of skeletons in the next few days so that we can increase the teams or create more. We will have many fights with lords from now on, as they have seen my power and will certainly try to deal with us as quickly as possible so that I don't get stronger. So be more careful. I will also be on the field fighting, but I will not be able to help all the teams, and this could lead to losses, which is not my objective. If you realize that you are going to lose, run away and return to camp, let me know and I will help attack this gentleman." He finished his speech.

"Yes, my lord, it will be done according to your wishes." Amethyst said right after.

Then Theo went to lie down to sleep and soon Copper was next to him, tired, and it didn't take long for him to sleep deeply without dreams. When he woke up the next morning, he was greeted by the ever-constant presence of Amethyst.

"Good morning, my lord!" She said.

"Good morning Amethyst, how are things at camp, any news or anything to report?" Theo asked.

"Nothing out of the ordinary, sir, everyone is already up and carrying out their duties. Your breakfast will be ready in a few minutes, I recommend that my lord takes this time to take a shower and relax before returning to his duties." She said.

It was then that Theo realized that she should be talking to her other subordinates to learn more about what life was like for humans like him so that she could serve him better. This brought to the surface a question that was deep in his mind, forgotten due to the events.

"Amethyst, why does your loyalty keep rising when it is already 100%?" He questioned.

"My lord, my loyalty to you cannot be measured in mere numbers, but this must be a method your system uses to measure the possibility of betrayal from your subordinates and summons. But as I have more intelligence than most others summons, my loyalty and admiration for you continues to rise, and that must be the reason you receive these notifications." Amethyst responded, surprising Theo and confirming his theory that she was trying to learn everything possible to help him better and better.

"Thank you very much, Amethyst, it is good to know that even though you are a summon that could not betray me, your loyalty is strong to the point of surpassing the barriers of the system. And I would also like to thank you for your effort in learning new things to serve me better." Theo said.

This made Amethyst bow in gratitude for her lord's words that she felt she didn't deserve, as it was her job to be his servant and learning and improving should only be a part of her duties. Still, her lord praised her and thanked her for doing this, which made her admiration grow even greater, as did her desire to be the best servant she could.

Theo accepted Amethyst's suggestion and took a shower to relax and prepare for the day and his many tasks, he intended to do his duties at camp and then go hunting with Loki. He would also need to take time to see how each of his subordinates were doing and if they needed anything, in addition to doing his usual training.

Upon leaving the shower, he headed towards the fire, where his subordinates were already sitting waiting for him for breakfast. As soon as he approached, he was greeted by everyone and sat down and was then served some fruit, a fried egg and some fresh water.

After eating, he headed to the mausoleum to recruit the day's units.

This ghost would be trained as a scout or assassin, it would depend on Amethyst as she controlled the training and use of each ghost. The zombie would be sent to the mining cave to join the others.

As soon as he finished recruiting, Theo went to where the wolves were and easily found Loki, since he was the biggest of them all. He took advantage of the morning to go hunting with his mount, a skeleton archer, and a ghost. Few units would be more difficult to detect, and he would still have a scout to look for targets around him.

It didn't take long with Loki's speed for them to move away from the camp, and they could start to see animal tracks and something that caught his attention much more. He could identify tracks of what looked like a cart being pulled by bipedal animals, so he asked his ghost to go ahead to identify the enemy and see how many there were. Then he asked Loki to sniff out his prey, not long after they were already on the move following those clues and his ghost arrived with the most important information, their number.

In total there were 15 forest beings with some beasts that pulled the carts, Theo's first orders were for the ghost to return to the camp and bring reinforcements, mainly the skeleton knights and Kornel as well as more skeletons. Meanwhile, he would follow the caravan with Loki sniffing them, so as not to lose their trail, but also not need to get too close and expose himself.

It was already midday when the forest beings stopped and Theo could see them. He retreated a little further, waiting for his reinforcements. And not long after they started to arrive, after a whole hour, everyone was there and had already received their orders. They surrounded the caravan and made an all-out attack, aiming to capture all the beings at once, as Theo wanted to test some things. He also wanted to take the carts and the ostrich-like monsters that he saw pulling the carts.
