-1:25 P.M-
"One of your Dad's abilities is to revive the dead?! Don't play around with me!" I yelled at Nathan.
"No, it's to possess somebody's appearance." Raven clarified.
Strings almost identical to Sky's strands fell off Raven's face, revealing the true person hiding behind Raven's looks.
It was Orion.
Standing in all of his glory, with red eyes that mimicked Sky's, a look of determination that rivaled his as well, and the shining, White Stone on the back of his hand shining into my eyes.
There was absolutely no way I could fight Orion, let alone have to deal with Nathan at the same time. Then, Orion was hiding here while the war was going on. At the same time, if I don't try to stop him here, Orion could disguise himself as one of our soldiers and attack from our back...
I paused and my heart almost stopped.
Lily...
She was the only one who could've come up behind me. Orion smiled from over next to Nathan, it seemed like I was right. Then, Lily wasn't here after all?
I couldn't think about that right now. I had the most dangerous man on the entire Isle in front of me, his wife outside fighting Dani, and Sky nowhere to be seen. I couldn't stand a chance against a White Stone, there was no way.
The scar on Orion's face was extremely obvious at this point. I hit him hard with that shard of glass, so much that I almost cut out his eye. At this point, I doubt it would even matter, as he has Sky's White Stone healing now... no, that wouldn't make sense, that scar wouldn't be there. Whatever he had, I didn't want to be here any longer.
"Lia... you want to know where Lily is, don't you?" Orion asked me. Even if I did, I would refuse any offer he said to me.
"I know you do. Just, hear me out, before you cut me off." Orion continued. "I know you want to see your precious friend... and she wants to see you. Before I murdered all of those women and children while they were in their homes ten minutes ago, she was one of the people I could remember." He said.
"WHAT DID YOU DO TO HER?!" I immediately yelled at Orion. I had to calm down!
"Don't worry Lia! Geez, you always kill the mood... do you remember where you broke the glass over my throne room? She's in there... I'll give you the key if you hear me out." Orion told me.
I turned around back toward the stairs behind me. "I don't care if that door has a lock. I'll kick it down. I'll tear the metal off of it, I won't need that key." I told Orion.
"You're right... but I wonder who can get there first to kill her or rescue her. How about we make a deal, Lia?" He asked me. I silently listened.
"Great! Now..." Orion pulled a dagger out from his back pocket. That was odd, he used a longsword, last I saw.
"Kill yourself." He told me. Was that a joke or something?
"Pass. I'm not interested in your deal." I responded to him.
"If I would've asked you that three months ago, you would've instantly agreed. You don't think I can see that hopeless gaze in your eyes? Do you think I didn't know you wanted to die? Do you think I'm truly that stupid and naïve? No? Great, then we're on the same page. Now, if you won't kill yourself... then kill me." Nathan turned to Orion in surprise.
"Come on Lia, come kill me." He asked. Orion slid the dagger over to me on the floor, which I quickly stopped with my foot.
I picked it up, walking over to him without stopping my stride. Nathan stood in front of his father, holding his arms out. "Stay away from Dad!" He told me. I wouldn't listen to that little shit.
"Lia Danafall. Isn't that weird? You have my last name. You have to wonder how we're connected, don't you?" He asked me. I didn't care about anything he said, I just wanted to kill him.
"You have to wonder. Where do you collide in my bloodline to have my last name? Why don't some people don't have last names? Isn't this whole situation confusing? A Deity controlling Sky, Strands sprouting from all of the White Stones, this Isle clouding the Isle with black smoke as we know it?" Orion told me. Just as he said 'black smoke', black smoke came billowing in through the windows in an intense, high-pressure burst of wind.
I covered my eyes, preparing for an attack, but Orion didn't move.
"Why did you just tell me all of that? What is the point of you asking me all of these questions? The soldiers will be here soon, and you'll be killed!" I yelled at Orion.
"Why did I tell you? So you can know about how our world works. You're withheld information by that First White Stone Dickhead. He'll hide history from you, he'll ruin you, and he'll kill everything you love if you know something you shouldn't. Yet, I just told you. Do you know what that means?" He asked me. I kept silent.
"You know the secrets now! Your death is confirmed, if by some minuscule chance you escape from this hallway without dying. You know about the Danafall's, you know you collide with my ancestry, you know about the last names, you know about the Deity, you know about the strands, you know it all now. You are a Danafall, Zeal will hunt you down no matter where you go." Orion told me.
"I'm not a Danafall, I'm the furthest thing from it. I don't even come close to your kind." I told Orion.
"When I talked with Zeal, long ago after he murdered my wife in cold-blood with that bitch down on Earth, he told me something very interesting... he told me that he violated me while I slept to push his experiments. I won't go into detail, but I have several children on this Isle related to me because of that. Specifically, Generation Three Arkians. Arkians pushed to their brink down the line of evolution. Maybe you aren't related to Nathan, but you're certainly in my bloodline." Orion told me.
"And? What does that matter to me? I wouldn't care if you were murdered in your sleep." I told him. It was wrong, but Orion was also fundamentally a bad person who didn't deserve any sympathy.
"What does that matter to you? I really do have to spell out everything for you... you're one of two Generation Three Arkians that are still alive. Zeal wants a Generation Four. Connect the dots. With the information you know, and with the potential, your bloodline has now that it has come from a White Stone... well... I think it's obvious where this is going. You'll be turned into a tool used by Zeal. All used by that damn White Stone..." He told me.
"You will be hunted for the rest of your life. If you kick that dagger over to me, I'll vow to protect you with my life when I win this war. When I murder your friends, it'll all be over. I'll protect you, as the new Corrupt White Stone.
