Dani VS Belle

--Alexia's Perspective--

"Hey! Let's not fight right now! We can't weaken ourselves!" I yelled out.

"I won't be just weakening Dani, I will be killing her," Belle told me.

What was wrong with her? She was being completely unreasonable... could this be the Insanity Eo was talking about?

"Dani, don't go into your Corrupt form, you can easily stop her without it! I'll prepare to stop her Insanity, just hold her off!" Eo yelled at Dani but was stopped by eight spears of ice shooting through her limbs and chest.

Belle's eyes fixated on Eo and she said something... out of character.

"If you join the enemy, I have no problem killing you as well." She said.

What the hell is going on with her? Why is Insanity making her like this?

"So be it, I've been wanting to try out my new powers," Dani said. She summoned a saber made of purple strands and stood with a confident stance against Belle.

Belle, with a snap of her fingers, summoned almost ten spears of ice out of the ground right underneath Dani, but without even seeing them, she somehow slashed at the spears before they even emerged far enough to pierce her chest.

Belle used that distraction to take advantage of Dani's blind spots, but even still, Dani was able to block a spear of ice, and launch it back at Belle as she kept her distance. Before the spear connected with Belle's face, it melted into the air, not even leaving water behind.

Boo, Mitra, Myth, and I were all hesitant to join in, but I figured that if we didn't, Belle would get out of control. We had to stop her as soon as possible.

I enlarged a saber I made out of thin air to slam it down between Dani and Belle, but Belle shot those same spears of ice at my body as well.

Boo jumped in front of me and cut down five of them with a single swipe, but the last one shot into my left arm and pushed me to the ground.

"Alright, now you're pissing me off, Belle! If you don't stop, I'll have to do it myself!" Boo shouted out.

As soon as she did, a large burst of cold air shot over the entire field and covered the ground in ice.

"Go ahead and try," Belle said.

"This is getting interesting!" Dani shouted out with a smile.

Dani threw her saber at Belle's head and she countered it with a spear of ice in her hand. As a big surprise to everybody, Dani completely changed the gravity of the saber and it came back to cut into Belle's chest, just near her ribcage. With a strand connected to the end of that saber, Dani flipped her body and the saber followed, cutting Belle's right arm off.

"Dani! Be careful dammit!" Eo shouted out. The spears of ice stuck in her were beginning to melt, but Belle tried to send another one into her head... I could tell by the trajectory that it was too accurate to miss...

But, I was wrong.

Boo jumped in between Eo and the spear of ice, but before it could even touch Boo, the spear of ice slammed into the floor and disappeared into nothing. We were all confused, but looking at Dani left us with the answers to some questions we didn't know we had.

Dani could change the gravity of specific objects... almost a replica of Ali's ability...

"If you're going to kill the people trying to save you, then you shouldn't hate me when I do this," Dani said.

The battlefield turned quiet for a moment but was filled with a loud, almost deafening, burst of wind that came from Dani's position.

She was... gone?

Above Belle stood a flashing red eye that was fixated on the back of her skull. It was most definitely Dani... but I feel that an appropriate question would've been, 'Is that actually Dani?'.

Dani's hand connected to the back of Belle's head and ice spikes shot out of Belle's hair and almost pierced Dani's skull. Since when was Belle's ability so versatile?

"Don't make me break your fucking ribcage girl," Dani said. She was starting to get mad...

Dani flipped her body and ripped her hand back, connecting the heel of her foot straight into Belle's stomach. However, Belle took the hit with her ice, which was supported by pillars that came from the ground.

It was almost shocking to see, but Dani smashed the pillars, smashed the barricade, and sent Belle about three feet into the floor after bursting through all of the barricades made in an attempt to absorb the attack.

Dani landed on the floor in a weird stance and got up just as quickly as she landed, and continued a slow stride over to Belle.

"People like you piss me off. People who have no idea what a real struggle is. People who haven't caked their hands in blood, or lost their limbs in fights that they knew they would lose. People who haven't watched so many loved ones die, yet believe they have a justified reason to go rogue, it's people like you who I can't stand, and who I'd rather kill." Dani said, continuing her stride.

"Comparing pain is like comparing oranges to apples... it's different for everybody, but for the Queen of being an asshole, I don't suspect you'd know that." Belle muttered. There was a distortion in her voice...

"You think comparing pain isn't possible? I'll show you similar pain to what I felt, starting with my first injury." Dani explained.

Dani slammed her foot into the ground and grabbed onto a chunk of ice as it flew up toward her.

"When I first woke up, I slammed my head on a tree branch." She said. Dani chucked the chunk of ice in a completely unrelated direction but used her powers to slam it into Belle's forehead. She was thrown to the ground. I wanted to speak up against her, but Dani told me to shut my mouth.

"I'll save you the intricate details, but after that, I was pinned to the ground and forced to watch Sky eat a cat's flesh while it was still breathing. I was thrown into freezing cold water and almost lost all of my appendages to frostbite. I was thrown to the ground to be saved by a whip made from razor blades. I was injured while training, I was almost killed in a fight against a fierce opponent.

A cut emerged on Belle's face that took out her right eye completely, yet again. Then, her knee snapped at the joint and she fell to the floor, screaming in pain.

Dani isn't even touching her... how strong is her ability?

"After that, I was unconscious, and had to watch the person I love destroy his body, just to give me another chance at life! I couldn't help him! I was powerless! Yet, here I am, and notice how I'm not giving up just because I'm an idiot who can't do anything! I did whatever it takes to be strong... and you will too." Dani said, before pulling Belle's leg off.

It was ripped with a sound that was so disgusting that I cringed while listening to it.

Belle screamed out in pain of course, and with all of that blood leaving her body, she would be dead without any outside interference.

I went in to go check on her, but Dani put her hand in front of me and blocked me.

"Let her bleed for a second. Let that idiocy seep out of her wounds." She told me with a stern look.

I thought Dani was an enemy, the way she attacked Belle like that, but she seemed to realize that killing her was the wrong move. Based on Belle's use of her ability, it seemed like she had new ideas, and even used Dani's idea to create a floor of ice to manipulate against her. She wasn't completely gone, and she seemed to recognize that.

Eo finally got the spikes of ice out of her body and returned to Belle's side, putting both of her hands on her head and sitting down with her eyes closed.

"System... Cleanse..." Eo whispered.

Belle fell face first into the ground and Eo healed her wounds before they turned fatal, while Dani put away her saber and turned around to look at me.

"Your friend, she's strong. Are you like that too?" She asked me.

"I might need practice, but I can assume I'll be like that one day," I told Dani. She nodded.

"She was sending those spears of ice underneath the ground and pointing them at you. If I didn't snap her knee, she would've killed you with them." Dani told me again.

"H-How could you tell?" I asked her again. Her intelligence... there's no way she's that smart to predict the way a battle would go!

"I can see all strands." She told me, pointing to her black eye.

"Is that what that's for? Hey... isn't that..." I muttered to myself but kept it in my head.

I'm pretty certain that Dani has Ali's black eye, The Eye of Providence.
