--Charlie's Perspective--
With my mouth locked shut, I stepped up to the occasion with Shike standing right beside me.
We could fight Genesis, and with Shike's ability, we might be able to do true damage.
"Charlie, I have one strategy, but it will require my ability to be saved until the very end of the battle. Up on that Isle, when the other one was coming down at us, Sky cracked his stone while deflecting it. The Stone has a limit, and if I charge my ability enough, I might be able to crack it. But I have to take astronomical damage here... it'll be tough, but let's try and get Genesis to his breaking point," Shike told me, catching onto the fact that he broke my jaw and left my mouth closed.
Genesis snapped his fingers and right beside him, Hikari started to materialize with his strands. She just... vanished from her bindings?!
"Let's make it fair, shall we? Hikari, you take on Shike, I'll take on Charlie," Genesis said to her. She nodded, and they both walked in opposite directions to fight us separately.
"Don't let them split us up like this, we got this," Shike muttered. I nodded and stayed close to him.
"Come on, don't make this easy," Hikari said, pulling out her weird weapon that shot a hole through Shike.
"I was hoping she'd do that. She's not too good at pattern recognition, is she?" Shike whispered, standing in front of Hikari with his hands spread out wide.
We were circulating the two with our backs so close they were almost touching, staring ahead at both Genesis and Hikari.
Hikari pulled the trigger to her gun and Shike took the bullet right to the head, absorbing all kinetic damage, and sending it straight into the ground.
The balcony started to vibrate a lot, with some pieces of the railing falling off into the abyss.
"That's not what your plan was, was it?" Hikari asked with a smile.
"I figured you knew what my plan was going to be, so why would I actually tell you what it is?" Shike smiled, running straight for Hikari.
He threw a few punches, which Hikari dodged without breaking a sweat.
She put the gun to his chest and pulled the trigger, but nothing happened this time. The trigger didn't even work, and no bullet came out.
Instead, Shike blocked the bullet with his hand before it left the gun, and used his ability to launch energy throughout the barrel of this weapon, cracking it, and sending it backward, straight through Hikari's shoulder.
With Hikari stunned, I ran up behind her as fast as possible and restrained her arms from blocking or dodging anything.
I only made a grunting noise since my mouth couldn't open up, but Shike understood. He hit Hikari in the chest with the full force of his fist.
I felt her ribs crack through the vibrations in my body, and we were both launched backward into the railing of the balcony without any restraint.
More of the brick cracked off when we hit the edge, and I punched Hikari in the face.
Normally, I would have a problem hitting a girl, and be extremely against it, but Hikari killed Boo with two words. This isn't just a normal, frail girl. She's tough and strong in her own regard, and not to be treated like anybody else. She is a strong opponent.
She took the hit and it was like punching a solid piece of mud. Her face cracked, revealing an interior of strands rapidly moving around.
While I got distracted in the infinite abyss under her skin, she summoned the gun and shot me twice in the stomach.
I didn't have strands like Shike, so when I got hit, it meant permanent damage until the end of this fight.
The shots weren't too close to my vital organs, but they still hurt a lot to deal with. I pushed myself back from her, and Genesis ended up right up behind me.
I ducked instinctively and dodged a strike from Genesis. He swung from the left side to the right, and when he ended up on the right side, Shike caught his fist, put his knee under Genesis's elbow, and snapped it like a twig.
Genesis grunted in pain and Hikari swung her body around and kicked Shike in the shoulder.
The hit alone didn't look like it hurt, but Shike's left arm blew off of his body like it was nothing. The point of her foot exploded wildly in flowing strands, and her eyes lit up in that bright blue color.
Hikari and Genesis were together, jumping up and swinging down on both Shike and me with their legs, or shooting at us with the weird weapon Hikari had. A gun, she called it.
"Charlie, cover me!" Shike yelled out. He ducked underneath me and I stood, holding my arms out, blocking him as if it could do anything.
Shike's hair started to stand up on every end, floating in the wind like a bunch of static electricity was flowing around. His eyes started to shift into a greenish hue, and his hair turned blonde at the roots.
Genesis took one step closer to me... and his leg exploded off of his body.
In fact, the entire balcony violently shook until pieces of the ground started to disintegrate. The metal rebars holding the cement together acted as the floor in patches all around the balcony since a majority of it was falling to the ground now.
"My sister was right... you are too troublesome to have around..." Genesis said, regenerating his leg.
As soon as he regenerated it again, it exploded with no effort at all.
"You understand my Incarnation now... The Incarnation of Kineticism. A very powerful ability Illya knew would manifest within me. Capable of splitting Isles in half, having no trouble splitting Towers in half. Sure, Genesis, you might be a master of illusions, but what about falling?!" Shike screamed out.
He put his right hand on the ground and with one last vibration, everything turned to dust, including the ground underneath me.
Chi-Chi, Asoh, and Alex all started to fall in the distance as well.
"You're looking at me like I'm crazy!" Shike said while laughing.
"Don't be worried, we have about ten seconds of falling before it happens..." Shike yelled out again through the loud wind flowing past us.
He held up something weird on his hip that looked like a radio... that must've been the radio that was stolen from him, to contact Sky or somebody if need be!
After the ten seconds passed, just like Shike said it would, a huge obelisk of ice was summoned in front of us with a slight lean on it.
"Aim there! Chi-Chi and the others have already hit it!" Shike yelled out again, pushing me while falling in mid air.
I hit it and started to slide. The ice obelisk was angled at such a path that I was losing momentum while sliding down, which meant I wouldn't fall to my death.
However, right above us, Genesis and Hikari started to slide down.
