Survival Evolved: Incarnation

*ALL CHAPTERS ARE FREE* With little to no explanation for their wiped memory, several survivors, referred to as Arkians, wake up on a beach on what seems to be Earth. These survivors have many differences, but the most defining one is Sky; The one with a White Stone on the back of his left hand. What kind of journey will Sky undergo because of this White Stone? Survival Evolved is meant to take place through the eyes of a teenage boy (mainly), meaning that some things he doesn't pick up on or connect in his mind are done ON PURPOSE. 2. Survival Evolved often describes gore/wounds in a gruesome way. There are many scenes in which slavery, human trafficking, or torture are talked about, so read with caution!

Annihilating Limits

Ali and Providence, after that much fighting... had ascended to a new level.

Ali broke the sound barrier as she ran at Providence again, slashing at her with a saber before she could react. However, I think it was Providence's eye that predicted where Ali would end up, and she successfully blocked it.

When she blocked it, the saber exploded and created a cloud of smoke, yet neither of them cared.

Providence punched through the smoke and Ali used her ability to break Providence's arm, slamming her to the ground, and throwing her to the side.

Providence slid on her feet and then kicked up as much dirt as possible as she broke the sound barrier this time. The loud noise that followed the shattered barrier was becoming too much for my ears to handle.

Ali took the hit to the face, and manipulated more gravity waves, causing Providence's punch to hit herself in the face. Providence's face started to crack like dry skin and pieces were falling off, revealing a portion of her face to be moving with golden strands. It was like there was a constant flow underneath her actual skin, that eventually regenerated.

Ali kicked the ground, moving all rocks around her up in the air, and sending them at Providence.

Providence spun her body like a drill and disintegrated each rock thrown at her, but by the time she hit the last one, Ali was in the air, slamming her saber down and disrupting the flow of gravity.

Everything in that dome began to float upward, including Ali and Providence, but this was no problem to either.

Ali summoned small purple wings on her back, and the wings that disappeared at the beginning of the fight on Providence's back came up as well. They could fly?!

Ali jumped in toward Providence with her wings and caught a feather latched to them, pulling upwards and them slamming Providence against one of the floating rocks.

Providence took the hit, twisted her body, and split Ali in half by her hips with her wings.

Ali clicked her tongue, regenerated her body in the blink of an eye, and started to fly in circles around the dome. Providence sat in the middle, laughing maniacally.

Something wasn't right though...

As Ali continued to fly around the dome, there was a visible wind current that was following her path... was she changing the speed of the wind in that dome?!

Several small rocks began to hit Providence, scraping her body.

Ali floated in the air with a bubble of gravity that looked like it was changing the course of the wind around her body.

"On Earth... they say water is the most deadly force, as it can erode anything... but do you know what moves that water?" Ali asked Providence.

"Wind."

The current sped up as Ali held her hands in the same formation as Alexia did to summon the dome, and to my surprise, the wind began moving so fast that the blurred images within the dome were almost invisible.

I couldn't see anything, but when the wind began to turn red with a liquid it was carrying... I understood why.

Providence was thrown into every last inch of the dome's barrier as the wind dragged her around, and for brief moments, I could see Ali tracing the dome with her golden saber, slashing around as that golden light acted as my way to see inside of the dome.

The wind was getting insane and now, after the wind and how it changed the entire course of the fight... the dome began to shake?!

"Eo, I thought you said that would be indestructible! Is Ali too powerful for it?!" I turned to Eo... and she shook her head in amazement.

"No... that dome isn't breaking..."

In a perfect formation, the ground around the dome started to crack and erode away faster than I had seen... like it was dust blowing in the wind.

The dome started to raise... she was lifting the whole thing?!

As the dome lifted to a set height in the sky, the ground around Eo and I started to move too... several portions of the ground started to raise up to the dome's level as Ali continued the surge of wind.

But this time, since the dome was free from the confines of the ground, it started to spin.

Like rolling a ball down a hill, the dome started out slow and turned faster and faster, until the strands that definitively made up the barrier started to blur as well.

"What the hell is happening..." I muttered.

"This is the true power of The Singularity, Ali Asterio," Eo said. That sounded kind of corny... didn't it?

The dome came to an abrupt stop, but it still floated in the air above all else.

Ali stood floating in the dome as Providence was on the bottom of the dome. Ali looked down at Providence and when she smiled, I could see the saliva pour out of her mouth and connect between her teeth and lips.

"More?" Ali asked with a smile that mimicked Providence's old smile.

Providence coughed up blood and spat it on the floor, panting heavily as the cuts around her body regenerated... but this time... they were slower.

"Don't get cocky, Ali Asterio. You will lose, whether you like it or not. You will succumb to the fatigue, and I will make you suffer whether you like it or not." Providence said, standing back on her feet and looking up at Ali.

I couldn't describe the atmosphere, but as golden light shot out of Ali's eyes... I felt weak and nauseous. What the hell was that?

"You might be right. I will succumb to the fatigue soon... but have you looked around you?" Ali asked Providence. She slightly glanced around, didn't understand what Ali was talking about, and then turned her head up toward Ali again.

"What are you talking about? Stop trying to buy time!" Providence yelled out to her.

"I'm just saying. That rock was the one that Providia and Sky used to be on... so, where are they?" Ali said with another smile.
