Four Guardians (1)

When Monday came, I left early in the morning for school.

I knew that the girls would come and pick me up after what happened on the weekend. Especially since I had been avoiding them all weekend after the incident at the dojo.

At this point, they would have already built up their feelings a bit and if I let my guard down, there was no knowing what would have happened.

So before that could happen, I needed to find a meat shield.

That was the second reason why I was leaving so early.

It was practice time for the kendo club that I was a part of.

Though I had never really gone to these practices other than a few times since I joined.

I was one of those members that only joined the club to be in a club, but never actually participated in the tournaments or other club activities. That was because up until now, I had been busy with being the best friend character.

The only reason I had joined in the first place was…

Standing in the middle of the dojo was a girl with a ponytail with a bamboo sword in her hand that she was swinging up and down.

But there was something that surprised me about this.

It was that she was completely alone in this dojo.

This club wasn't the biggest, but it wasn't the smallest either. There were other members that should have shown up for morning practice, so why was this girl alone?

Still, if she was alone, that would make it easier for me.

That was because she was my target this time.

Who was this ponytailed girl?

She was one of Yan Ling's companions and one of the Four Sacred Beast Guardians.

This girl's name was Bi Feng and she was the Azure Dragon Guardian.

But beyond that, she was a second year at our school and the president of the kendo club.

She would be my scapegoat against Yan Ling.

When I opened the door and walked in, Bi Feng immediately turned to look at me with a surprised look before she narrowed her eyes to look at me.

I revealed an awkward smile and said, "Uh, am I too late? I thought that we had morning practice."

Bi Feng shook her head before saying, "You're not late, it's just that no one ever shows up for morning practice anymore."

I couldn't help being surprised when I heard this.

The last few times that I had been here, there were plenty of people that came.

But…the reason that they came wasn't because they were dedicated to practicing their sword skills.

It was because of Bi Feng.

This club was a co-ed club because there weren't enough people to form the club in the first place, so they had to combine the male and female teams.

When they did, there were many boys that joined to get closer to Bi Feng.

That was because she was a beauty.

With her long black hair in a ponytail, her wide clear eyes, and her fair complexion, she was the perfect representation of a beautiful upperclassman.

But the most eye-catching thing about her was…her chest.

Even though she had them bound right now so they wouldn't interfere with her practice, one could still see the bulge coming from them. When she was in her uniform, she was even bigger than Yan Ling.

When I had been at practice before, I had seen how the other male members had looked at her as she swung her sword.

It didn't seem like they would quit that easily.

Though I did find out why they quit coming to morning practice very soon.

The two of us stood there in silence for a bit before Bi Feng broke the silence by saying, "Since you're here, let's practice together then."

I was surprised that she would suddenly offer to practice together, but I wouldn't give up this chance.

So I quickly changed into my gear and came out to find Bi Feng waiting for me.

She tossed a bamboo sword over to me before saying, "Let's have a match."

I couldn't help revealing an awkward smile since I really wasn't suited for things like this, but since it would give me a chance to connect with her, I really didn't have a choice.

As I started putting on my protective gear, I saw that she was still standing there without any protective gear on.

So I couldn't help asking, "Senior, are you not putting the gear on?"

She looked at me with sharp eyes as she simply said, "I don't need it."

That should have been the first sign of what was to come, but I ignored it.

After I finished putting the gear on, I stood there in front of her and said, "Anytime you're ready, senior."

Bi Feng gave a nod before saying, "Get ready then."

Then before I could react, I had already been hit by her bamboo sword on the head.

However, what I was really paying attention to was the thing swaying in front of me.

Though they had been bound, her chest still bounced up and down when she moved suddenly like this. It gave a hypnotic bounce that completely mesmerized me and had me in a daze.

But the pain quickly followed as I was knocked back to the ground.

I fell hard on my butt which caused it to fill with pain, but I found that this wasn't the end yet.

"Weak! Weak! How can you be this weak?!" Bi Feng shouted as she kept swinging her sword to hit me.

Even though I had already fallen to the ground, she didn't relent at all as she kept swinging her sword.

All I could do was hold my sword up in an attempt to block, but it didn't really do anything as she kept hitting me with her sword.

From this, I was able to learn the reason why everyone else had stopped showing up for morning practice.

Can you imagine a vomit version of tetris?
