Chapter 40 : Selfish ?

"Zheng Yue Wan, do you know how selfish you are?", Zhou Sheng asked her with smile on his face, but only he knew how hurt he felt.

Zheng Yue Wan nodded her head. "It's the nature of human"

Zhou Sheng patted her head. He who planned to let her know his plan of divorcing Zheng Yue Ying after the child was born could only be hidden for the rest of his life. Though he said that she was selfish, but deep inside he knew that how selfless she was. For the sake of Zheng family, especially Zheng Yue Ying, as well as Zhou Family, she preferred to live lonely, far away from them.

It would be bad for Zhou Sheng if he decided to not be responsible for Zheng Yue Ying. He would be claimed as an unresponsible man for abandoning a woman who had his child. However, he would be spared if they exposed Zheng Yue Ying's scheme to climb up his bed. If the truth was revealed people would symphatize Zhou Sheng instead. After all, who would want to marry a despicable woman.

Therefore, for the sake for everyone, Zheng Yue Wan took a step back and tortured herself for the exchange.

Zhou Sheng replied her with tightening his embrace. Inhaling her scent deeply as it would be the last time for him to be able to hug her that way. "Ah Sheng..."

"Could you please don't say anything more? Don't you torture me enough with your request?"

He really didn't want to hear her anymore. Every word that she would pronounce might bring him to unexplicable pain.

"Could you please terminate my contract?"

However, she wouldn't yield because she knew herself more than anyone that she would be shaken if she didn't persist it at the moment.

She couldn't be with him, but she hoped him to find his happiness. She heard that someone's love might be able to melt the other as the time went by. By that, he might forget about her and start anew.

She might puke blood if she knew that the certain man had made up his mind to be a monk once he settled The Superstar's business.

After all, he knew that she wouldn't do anything which could bring harm to others, even if it was only a small possibility.

If he granted her wish, he wouldn't need to wait for the future to know what she would do. She would definitely hide herself again, and this time she would make sure that he would have never found her.

Zheng Yue Wan knew that this time, she really had crossed his bottom line. She didn't dare to be a pushover anymore. After all she knew that she had hurt him more than she could think of.

After Zheng Yue Wan felt that his breathing turned even, she slowly took his hand which circled around her waist and placed it onto his abdomen. She slowly got up and tiptoed out the room. Though she promised him to stay for the night, she still felt it was not appropiate for them.

When she closed the door, Zhou Sheng's eyes opened widely. He could only sigh, he knew it all along that she would eventually leave him thus he tried his best to stay awake by looking at her or caressing her, but knowing that she would stubbornly wait him to sleep and sneaked out later, he couldn't make her force open her eyes when her face clearly shown how sleepy she was. Therefore, he acted like he was asleep.

Since that she had left, there was no reason for him to stay there as well. Thus he got up and left for Zhou Mansion. To where that malice woman lived in. Actually, he had always planned to live seperately with his parents after marrying, but he couldn't live only with that woman. Therefore, he still lived in the Zhou Mansion.

He even renovated his room into two rooms which looked like a room from the outside when his parents were abroad.
