3 HE SAW CHRIS....

He held his right hand tight on the bullet wound on his chest, blood oozing out of it. He fell on the ground, his eyes trying hard to remain open. Before everything blacked out, he heard it...did not know if he heard it alright...

WELCOME TO PUBG!

Soon after he found himself inside a plane with many others sitting alongside him. All of them had their faces straight and stoic. He was clueless as hell. He had no damn idea what the hell was going on?

The scene resembled the game so damn much. It was as if he was inside the game or playing with a high tech super virtual reality which for sure he could never afford at that moment. Maybe later in the future...

So he was still very much conserved and trying to pinpoint out what exactly was going on. Where exactly he was or still in his dreams, dreaming unreal things that could never ever be real.

Later on, one by one each of them started flying out of the plane, some waited more and then jumped off in another stoppage while Cole continued to sit thinking what was happening.

He was taken aback when he saw how those people jumped off like they were not afraid and had been doing it for quite a few times now.

Cole gulped the saliva down his throat thinking what could happen next to him for he was afraid now more than ever.

He never did skydiving. Hell! He never even got in an airplane. Plus the plane looked nothing like those in the commercials. It looked like that of the military planes with sitting on either side with black leather belts. The seats were not comfortable one. And a huge empty shape between it.

He repeatedly closed his eyes multiple times now thinking he would wake up from his deep dreaming sleep but he was just stuck in. Every time he opened his eyes, he was greeted with the same view.

And he was tired of closing his eyes by then for he had lost count of how many times he had been closing them only to open and be greeted with the same view while in his mind thinking it was just a dream.

Perhaps later when he was the only last passenger left on the plane, he was obliged to jump off.

He immediately closed his eyes afraid. It felt so real. The air hitting on his face as he descended down from high up the sky. He had never in his life did sky diving. Damn!

He was falling down from high up at too much speed that it gave him goosebumps. The chills passed through his spine. Everything felt too real to be considered to be reel.

On reaching the ground, the parachute flung open avoiding him from being attracted by the gravity right away.

Cole could see people...a huge number of people like insects moving, running across the field where he was about to land. Everyone was screaming but when soon he landed, the moment his feet touched the ground, the voices stopped as if someone muted the noise manually.

He looked around not sure what to do. He knew it was a game. He had his M416 in his hand in the front, waiting for him to aim and shoot the enemies before him and head through it clearing the way for himself.

He knew how to play. He knew that was how it happened during the match, they used to play virtually but then why the hell he was inside the game. He could not figure that out. He was yet to discover if this was real or reel.

And within no time, he got shot with three bullets, two from the back and one from the front. It was expected. When you just stand ideal, without doing anything on a battlefield, you were bound to be shot later or sooner.

Yet again the pain felt too damn real. The blood started oozing out from his bullet wound as he fell down on the ground, and in a blip, the moment he closed his eyes, he found himself inside the plane again with many others boarding it, sitting beside him.

He tried to scan everyone's face, trying to find out if he had his teammates here with him. But after countless times of trying to find out, he got none. And he was the last one inside the plane again who was pushed out of it.

The air hit on his face, the cold shiver ran through the lining of his spine. This time he did not close his eyes and looked everywhere. The sky was real so did everything felt real.

If he was still in the game then probably this was in war mode that was why, every time he died, he found himself back inside the plane to be dropped onto the battlefield again.

And yes, he found himself on the ground again amidst these many people, running around, shooting their enemies off.

Cole once again taking his sweet time on trying to analyze if this was real or reel, got shot and the whole process of falling down dead on the ground, boarding the plane, and flying out of it to land on the battlefield only to be shot again and board the plane.

This was repeated at least five times. Cole died five times, boarded the plane five times, landed five times only to die again and by now he had realized that it was real, no doubt in it.

So now he had to figure out what exactly happened for him to enter the gaming world just like that. He also needed to find out if his teammates were here too. And all the participants who were about to play in the competition.

Right then he was sitting on the plane again for the sixth time now, his eyes trying to scan at least one known person from the real-life world. And then he saw him...he saw Chris...
